I bought this for the outside cats. Winters are usually mild here, and I figured it'd be a good alternative to running the heating pad at night. It's soft on one side, fuzzy on the other side. It's not stitched together like a quilt, so it slides around easy because of the material on the inside - some kind of foil apparently. Whatever the material is, it's very crinkly and noisy. One cat tried it and took off for 2 days. Another cat either walks around it or jumps over it. Maybe the cats are just extremely sensitive to the thing, but it hasn't worked out for them. ... show more
