I ordered this dog door because the one I had would get moisture on it, freeze and make it difficult for my small dog to push the flap to get back inside. The aluminum frame is durable and looks good. Installation was easy even though the instructions had a ton of typos. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the door panels pop off. My 80lb pitbull comes through like the freaking kool aid man. He has popped one of the panels off a few times now. I am glad it hasn't broken and hope it holds up.

The dog door instructions were very straightforward and very easy to install. My door is Styrofoam insulated and I had self-tapping screws, and my door is not that thick. So both sides of the French dog door were able to meet in the middle and I was able to screw the two pieces together. It's very solid. My dog, Luke, uses it and I really like the instructions they had on how to get your dog to come out, which I'm still doing after the fourth day of having it. Very pleased with the dog door. Excellent quality exactly what I paid for if I had the need for another dog door I would actually buy it again. And a very reasonably priced I might add.

My wife buys stuff, I install it :) I have always wanted one of these for my Doodle and Border Collie that constantly want to run surveillance in the yard. I’ve used those “magic screens” for years, but they fall WAY short compared to this. Keeps the heat in, the bugs out, and looks good too. Install was easy, even cutting through a metal exterior door. The door stayed “square”, used some exterior caulk around all the edges and during “mating” of the exterior/interior panels, and just 4 screws later, the door usable in under an hour. Highly recommend!

I purchased the “Large” sized version of this doggie door for my adult Siberian husky. The size fits her perfectly. Quality: Metal framed with plastic doors and hinge inserts. Overall build quality is solid. My dog goes in and out about 10 times an hour it seems, and I’m confident this will hold up to her use over time. Install: Straight forward install with no issues. Cut the door, slide each doggie door side into place and fasten with included hardware. I used some construction adhesive along the inside edges and silicone caulking around the outside edges for water shedding. Reason for Purchase: Recently moved to new house and didn’t bring old doggie door with me. I switched from the doggie door style with the vertical rubber flaps to this plastic French door style. Both styles do a similar job keeping the weather out of the house. Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for a doggie door.

It's really nice and made from a strong aluminum frame. I have 2 labs and got the big XL door and would get that size again for them. It was easy to install after I got the hole cut. Cutting the hole was actually the hardest part. I give it 4.5 stars because the fur around the edges could be better. I added my own after I got it installed to better insulate as it's been close to zero degrees here. Would buy again though. 👍
