I needed something small and compact for my car that would also give me great sound. I am a music lover and I need it to help me energize daily tasks and I spend a lot of time driving to do those tasks.     • Works in my boat
I bought this to replace my old one and while I was only able to test this on the waters for a weekend before it got cold and stormy again, while out there for the whole weekend, this subwoofer sounds amazing. While it was around water and did get splashed a few times, never once did the sound get muffled nor did it stop working. The sound that came out still sounded like it was before it got wet. While I did install this myself, I did have someone helping me who had installed subwoofers in boats before. After they were looking over everything, they were saying this whole thing came with everything I was going to need, minus my tools but that after we were done, it was a lot easier than some that they had installed before. Adjusting the sound is really easy to do but more importantly, I get sound the whole time. While it is under a tarp right now due to us having some rainstorms, I went to check and test it when the rain stopped and not only does it come on but no rusting or muffle sounds come out of it. ... show more

With a bit of tinkering and adjustments, you can make this little sub sound amazing with your speakers. I've had this now for a while and just did the low-input wiring to the sub. It sounds even better! Also suggest having a good radio to make all the adjustments you need for sound. But you can get okay sound with the OEM radio. ... show more
