Gave these to family members who had car fobs. They said they worked and the fobs fit into the cases and the cases fit into purses. So, they are practical, they work, they arrived quickly. As to sturdiness - I have not seen them since they are a gift.

There are countless Faraday cage products for cards, keys & electronics. Me, I wanted a nicely designed & well built (no scratches on my key) pouch, for both of my electronic car keys. One that had specific sizes, so I could select a set that a key could slide in & out, but roomy enough for the thickness of an electronic key. Without being too large. This manufacturer has different sizes & gives you the dimensions so one can make an informed selection. In addition, the pouches are well designed, not obtrusive in size or weight, and are well stitched. They have attached small exterior metal clips, should you wish to hang it. And the clips have a nice finish to them, nothing about these are cheaply made. The interior lining extends to the entire interior & flap. I took one key (in pouch) & put it at the door handle, no response from the vehicle whatsoever. I took the second key which has a nice sturdy "flat" & finish chain attached. This has a loop clip on the other end (for clipping to a belt loop & slide into a front pocket), my point, not a cheap thin chain. I tucked the key in the other pouch, WITH the chain leading OUTSIDE said pouch. And folded the flap over, leaving a slight gap compared to key #1, but the flap extends well enough to completely mitigate all signal. Held next to car handle,.. nothing. Still zero signal leak. So no one is going to use a repeater or clone the signal when in pouch. If you're reading this, you understand the key is always transmitting, not just when you hit a button. This is an excellent product, I would highly recommend it. I'm not recommending "similar products," just this one. Very high quality, at a very, very reasonable price. And, if you just gleaned the description, you may not be aware you do get two (a pair). If you've a push start auto w automatically unlocking doors, this is worth the piece of mind.

I have ordered these Faraday Lanpard pouches (bags) twice—two different sizes. They work really well. I keep my spare car key fob stored in one pouch 24/7. At night, I store my other car key fob in the second pouch so that someone on the street cannot use a code grabber device to pull RFID signals from my key fob in my house and steal my car. The medium size is large enough to hold a key fob and a Tile tracker attached to the key fob. I recommend these Lanpard Faraday pouches.

The pouches do block the RFID signal. I cannot open my car doors with the fob in the pouch. I keep the fobs in the pouches at night for a bit of extra security. They are not overly large; they are a bit smaller than my wallet. I think that, if they were any smaller, it might be more difficult to remove the fob when needed. My fob measures 3 1/2' X 1 1/2" including the key ring. I can open the flap, invert the pouch and squeeze slightly and the fob slides our easily. The chain prevents accidental dropping of the fob when removing it, and the external clip allows the attachment of house keys, etc. Both are nice features. I cannot speak to the longevity of the pouches since I have only had them for a week, but they seem to be well made and they do what they are supposed to do. The price was reasonable and I am happy with my purchase.

We've tested it! With the key fob in the case, you cannot start the car...even sitting behind the steering wheel. We now keep both sets of fobs in the cases. Great purchase, highly recommend.

This is very important information; it works perfectly as advertised. If the fob is in the pouch inside your pocket, the car will not open. HOWEVER, you need to check it on occasion. I was carrying one for several months and by accident one day I noticed the car opened without me taking it out. I may have damaged the pouch from sweating, or being caught in the rain and getting it wet or just wearing it out. It is perfect they come in a pack of two, after a long time if you need to change it out, you already have another. Extremely easy to use, I keep it in my pocket, and discretely just put the fob back in the pouch each and every time I get out of the car using one hand inside my pocket. This is the perfect size (unlike other ones that are too bulky to put in your pocket). The carbon fiber material is very light and durable, very sturdy. I think (from the experience already explained), it is good to Make Sure to Close The Pouch inside your pocket while the fob is in or out, because leaving the flap open will expose the inner side to sweat or dampness if caught in the rain.

Don't know how likely thieves steal cars by capturing codes, but better to be safe for $10! Pouches do block signal from key fob and look to be well-made. The internal chain keeps the fob attached and the rear clasp can be used to attach other keys or connect it to belt loop or purse. Nice job!
