I recently started cooking meats for sandwiches and artisan breads but quickly discovered my knife skills are that of a two year old with a butter knife. This little gem is a more compact, easier to clean slicer similar to what I used when I worked in a deli back in the day. Does it have the same power as one used all day every day in a deli? No! Is it a great find at a great price for home use? Absolutely! It cuts as thin or as thick as you want by an easy turn of a dial. It comes with a serrated blade (perfect for slicing homemade breads) so I purchased the meat blade separately. I have used both and they’re a breeze to swap out. Beautiful crusty artisan bread stays beautiful!!! ❤️ Others have commented about it not securing to their counters but I’ve had zero issue. The only thing I’m not super crazy about is the guide but it may just be me getting used to it???? I’m so happy with this purchase I have it on the Amazon Christmas list to gift to our (grown) kiddos.

I bought this slicer for the serrated blade, already have a meat slicer but was unable to buy a serrated blade for it. While I did not want a second slicer, I wanted a nicely sliced crusty sour dough loaf. Glad I bought it! The build quality, while not industrial, worked perfectly well. The suction cups held the slicer in position while in operation. It was able to cleanly slice the bread from end to end with clean uniform toast/sandwich thin slices. You MUST wait for the loaf to completely cool before slicing, but that is true of any fresh bread slicing. Bottom line, if you want a way to beautifully slice crusty sour dough, or any other homemade bread without terrorizing or squishing it, this machine is what you have been searching for!

I have used it to slice turkey breast and roast beef for sandwiches. It is easy to use. The thickness adjustment dial worked well and I was able to get very thin deli slices. The blade was easy to remove and cleaning was easy. I am not sure how long I can use it before sharpening the blade and no instructions were included for operating or maintaining it.

We used this slicer to slice barbecued meats for a large gathering. The slicer was easy to set up and compared to other slicers I’ve used, even easier to clean. The blade adjustment was easy to use allowing for a wide variety of thicknesses making this a great slicer for a variety of foods that you need to sliced from meat to fruits and vegetables it made quick work of them all. Another feature were the Suction cup feet, once placed on the counter it stayed in place and didn’t have to keep moving it forward again. For the price point a great little slicer, it did everything we asked of it!

So far I've only used it to slice cheese. It works well, but the thickness setting seems to move a bit with each slice. I started holding the knob in place to keep the thickness more uniform.

Cuts great and is easy to adjust, makes great thin cuts on ham if you don't press to hard, the suction cup feet hold great and it is fairly easy to disassemble to clean. All on all it is a great deal at the price point!

First this is a very nice machine. Second it will NOT cut bones, NO "slicer" will! To cut bones in meat you have to use a BONE SAW which is very expensive! It slices meats easily and quickly. You can dial in the thickness you want. Just like the ones in the deli, you should place something under the back to catch the slices, not the counter. The blade and other parts are easy to remove for washing and sanitizing and easy to reinstall them. Careful the blade is SHARP! It's convenient to be able to cut meats to your desired thickness. Some meats may slice easier if they are slightly frozen. I haven't tried to slice fully frozen meats but I think it would depend on the size of the meat and the thickness of the slice. You can get your meats sliced at the store deli, usually for free, but they are often busy and, since it's not really their job, they don't really like having to do it. Owning the slicer takes that out of the equation. You also don't have to wonder if you left any meat at or in their slicer. (I've seen it done "did I just buy their lunch?") Every time I've had meats sliced at the deli, it loses weight for some mysterious reason. (Some loss of micro amounts is normal) BTW they will cut up meats with bones and it's a free service at the stores I use. So you don't have to purchase a bone saw. ***Be aware that bone chips will not be cleaned off the meats so be sure to wash it before packaging it or when you cook it. (I've seen it in the case meats too) I think the machine should be allowed to cool off every once in a while if you are slicing a large quantity of meat. I got the machine with the more powerful motor so it will cut better and last longer than the other size. The price difference is reasonable plus I got extra items with the upgrade. A good upgrade! If you want control of your slicing and want easy cleaning, this slicer is what you want. Just remember it's not going to be as powerful as the one in the deli but it also doesn't cost anything near what one of those does. I have to say I recommend this slicer 100%
