It's not a dryer, as the review questions suggest. It is a paddle style brush that straightens natural curly course hair. It's not a "curling iron" either, it's a straightening brush, with wide teeth rather than bristles. You can get a light curl or flip, but it's a straightening tool. A good one! This brush works wonderfully in my hair. Two passes and it is bone straight. I like the fact that only one side of your hair is being heated — flat irons can be very damaging. My hair type is probably a 3C and it slides through my hair with ease. My daughter has 4C type hair and this requires multiple passes in order to straighten her hair. I am concerned that it is being damaged by the high heat and number of passes. I used it on her hair one time and two of the prongs bent. Because I had used it multiple times on my hair I did not expect the prongs to bend so quickly or easily. That is the reason for losing a star. All of the listed parts arrived with a beautifully packaged styling brush. I would recommend this product for people who have hair types 1-3c. The temperature on this will not go below 250 degrees. So, you will need to be careful with fine or damaged hair. It heats up quickly and even the back of the paddle which does not touch your hair gets really hot. Luckily I had it laying on a folded towel. I m not talented on styling I m not a patience either ..this tool made it all! easier nicer and faster + not damaging woke up this morning and found what i was dreaming about : frizz free light weight soft smooth shiny hair...nice feeling to brush. I have a head full of very curly hair, the strands of which are pretty fine. I’ve used many straighteners in the past and don’t straighten my hair very often but when I do my like the job to be pretty quick and easy. I section my hair and was able to fully straighten, it within about 20 minutes using this brush. I cannot believe I got this hot brush at this price! Packaging was excellent! Came with a velvet carry bag, glove, 2 hair clips and a cleaner brush all packaged in a nice box.
