Enjoy the beauty of Assorted Foliage, which features assorted, green foliage and is fantastic for small spaces. Grow Assorted Foliage in bright, indirect sunlight. Water it about once a week with approximately 1/4 cup. Ensure excess water drains. Adjust as needed for your environment. Never let Assorted Foliage sit in water or saturated soil. When delivered, it’s about 4-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. Assorted Foliage arrives in a black, 2-inch grower pot. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes. Assorted Foliage is generally a moderate grower, depending on environment and care provided. Boost growth in spring and summer with a fertilizer labeled for potted plants following the product’s instructions. When Assorted Foliage outgrows its current container, repot by gently removing it from its container and placing it in a 2-inch wider container. Fill with potting mix and water thoroughly. Hardy outdoors in USDA Zones 9-11. Exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. They look great and in good shape, so far. I was expecting these to come in a little worse for wear because it's winter, and it's usually less than 40°F in Northern NV during the day. I brought these plants inside within a few minutes after they arrived on my porch. I have a camera outside that notifies me of deliveries. They didn't sit outside for very long. If possible, I would personally have these plants held for me at my local post office for me to pick up if I couldn't bring them in within a few minutes of being delivered. I don't know if holding at the post offfice for pick up is an option through Amazon or Costa Farms. These plants would not have lasted for long if I didn't bring them in right away. The heat pack was still a little warm, which is great while they're inside a delivery truck or post office building, but the heat pack would not have helped if the plants were not brought inside right after they were delivered on my cold porch. If I couldn't bring them inside within a few minutes after delivery, I would wait to order until the weather was not too cold or not too hot. I also got a set of snake plants from Costa Farms at the same time as this order, and they also look great, so far. Sometimes, it takes a day or two before cold or heat damage is apparent. I'll update if any of these new plants appear cold damaged within a day or two. I don't have ID labels on these, so I have to research a couple of them that I'm not familiar with. There are basic instructions such as bright indirect light, avoiding soggy roots, fertilizing once or twice in the spring and/or summer. There's an email address to ask questions about these plants. I got 6 different kinds of plants. They're very pretty. They seem healthy, so far. I'm happy with them, l so far. I'll update witg pictures after I get them in nice planters. ... show more

The plants were tiny and arrived in terrible condition. One of the three plants was nearly dead on arrival. It was stems with leaves that had fallen off. The packing for shipping was poorly done such that the box was printed with This Side Up, but the plants were laid in a different direction so that they were falling out of their tiny little pots. I've ordered plants like these before from a different company that arrived great. I would not purchase these plants again. ... show more

Package arrived upside down although saying fragile this side up handle with care plants were not wrapped with rubber bands dirt was all over the box and none in the pots so the plants started wilting, 3 of them came looking okay. if i could give them 2 1/2 stars i would. the 3 that came perfect look wonderful. but the other 3 i have no idea what happened. ... show more

This is my 100th time buying from Costa! I just received a variety pack of 6 houseplants. I absolutely love these because it’s so much fun unboxing to see what you’ve gotten! This time I got a coffee plant and a beautiful fern and a polka dot plant (the others I already have but will gift to my nephew). You can count on Costa to get healthy plants, I’ve never had a problem with bugs or gnats or fungus. I keep my new plants in the ICU in my kitchen for a few weeks but never ever had a problem! For the most part, this is a good deal. I ordered the 6 grower pot set and expected to have maybe a duplicate but it's a little annoying to order a set of 6 plants and essentially get 4 different plants. You can see from the photos that 4-5 out of the 6 arrived healthy, one of them has some browning on the edges and the other one has crushed leaves but I'm sure they can be revived. UPS handled this terribly (box was clearly labeled with which side is up, but they delivered it upside down) but this is not at all a knock on or the fault of the seller. Pros: 1. At ~$4 a plant, it's a great deal and better than what you can get at most local stores, granted these are typically smaller than what you can get at your local stores. 2. Despite shipping from FL > CA, the plants arrived mostly healthy and brightly colored 3. I do like the variety of plants I received Cons: 1. One of the plants had a trapped mosquito that flew out the moment I cut the plastic wrapping. Fortunately it was lethargic from the shipping trip and I was able to track it down and kill it. Not ideal for someone with a newborn child in the house. 2. As you can see 4 of the plants are actually 2 plants but in different color variations. I get that this is a grower's choice, and the colors are different enough that I can let the duplicates pass but it's not ideal to order 6 plants and basically receive 4 plants with 2 duplicates. On the plus side, I suppose it makes caring for the plants easier. I will reserve my full judgement until I repot the plants but I could have gone to my local garden store and bought a larger plant at $6-7 a plant. While $4/plant is a good deal, I would not have bought two different variations of two different plants if I was able to pick myself, so at the end of the day the price balances itself out. I will give it 4 stars because the plants arrived mostly healthy, but I cannot recommend this if you are looking for a specific variety OR if you are looking for 6 different plants with this order. I'm sure some might get lucky and get all 6 different plants, but I wasn't one of the lucky ones. ... show more

This is the second time I’ve ordered from Costa Farms through Amazon and the second time the plants arrived damaged. This time the box had been crushed and the plants inside were torn and displaced from their containers. I get that things happen during shipping. But Amazon direct two cost of farms and Costa farms says that the products are not returnable and you should go to Amazon. Ultimately Amazon credited my account for the purchase, and I appreciate the good customer service there, but Costa farms seems pretty sketchy. ... show more
