Water it about once a week with approximately 1/4 cup. Ensure excess water drains. Adjust as needed for your environment. Never let Assorted Foliage sit in water or saturated soil. When delivered, it’s about 4-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. Assorted Foliage arrives in a black, 2-inch grower pot. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes. Assorted Foliage is generally a moderate grower, depending on environment and care provided. Boost growth in spring and summer with a fertilizer labeled for potted plants following the product’s instructions. When Assorted Foliage outgrows its current container, repot by gently removing it from its container and placing it in a 2-inch wider container. Fill with potting mix and water thoroughly. They look great and in good shape, so far. I was expecting these to come in a little worse for wear because it's winter, and it's usually less than 40°F in Northern NV during the day. I brought these plants inside within a few minutes after they arrived on my porch. I have a camera outside that notifies me of deliveries. They didn't sit outside for very long. If possible, I would personally have these plants held for me at my local post office for me to pick up if I couldn't bring them in within a few minutes of being delivered. I don't know if holding at the post offfice for pick up is an option through Amazon or Costa Farms. These plants would not have lasted for long if I didn't bring them in right away. The heat pack was still a little warm, which is great while they're inside a delivery truck or post office building, but the heat pack would not have helped if the plants were not brought inside right after they were delivered on my cold porch. If I couldn't bring them inside within a few minutes after delivery, I would wait to order until the weather was not too cold or not too hot. I also got a set of snake plants from Costa Farms at the same time as this order, and they also look great, so far. Sometimes, it takes a day or two before cold or heat damage is apparent. I'll update if any of these new plants appear cold damaged within a day or two. I don't have ID labels on these, so I have to research a couple of them that I'm not familiar with. There are basic instructions such as bright indirect light, avoiding soggy roots, fertilizing once or twice in the spring and/or summer. There's an email address to ask questions about these plants. I got 6 different kinds of plants. They're very pretty. They seem healthy, so far. I'm happy with them, l so far. I'll update witg pictures after I get them in nice planters. ... show more

Driver clearly did not read box labeled "Live plants handle with care". Plants were not in their pots and soil was all in the bottom of box. Had to re-pot all the plants and salvage as much of the soil I could. Plants were not 4 to 6 inches, nothing like the photos, not out of the box ready, all were 2 inches or less and barely alive. Fortunately I have a green thumb and do believe I managed to save these little suckling's long enough to buy supplies tomorrow for better repotting. Definitely not worth the price as I could have bought much better plants locally for the same price or less and not have to buy additional supplies for proper care. Do not recommend for anyone not experienced enough to save the plants immediately after delivery. Poor condition, terrible appearance and bad quality product. Oct 24, 2022. Delivered and look just like the pictures. In great shape. Plants were in strong box. If your plants arrived all tossed around or dry/dead, then blame your shipper/delivery driver. My UPS driver is top notch and pays attention to a box that says live plants keep-upright. Other shipper that starts with F and ends with x tosses packages around like luggage at an airport. Will order again from company. Update: Nov 16, 2023 - so all six plants survived the year. As always when ordering plants, they arrive very small - that's the value. If you want bigger plants, go to a local store and spend 15-20 bucks a piece. Otherwise, enjoy helping the plants to grow. Once they arrived, I let them sit in a windowsill (no sun) for a week to acclimate, Then I transferred them to a 4" pot. Based on type, they either get some light, full bright light, part sun, or full sun. After 5 months, they transfer to a 6-8" pot. Now it's been a year. Some plants are 18" tall, some are 24"-48" hanging and some are known to be slow growers like this palm. The palm is only 12" tall, but full. It is considered a very slow grower. Not the size as advertised. One is almost dead with dried leaves. I’m trying to revive it but not looking good. Wished it would have come with the names of the plants.

Always had good luck with Costa Farms but two of these plants were duplicated, the Wandering Jew plant and they are both dying. They were really in bad shape when they arrived. The Croton plant was also not only dry but literally out of the pot completely. It has done nothing since repotted and babied. It is not going to make it either. Don't know how to complain to Costa Farms but half the plants are not going to make it after close watching for weeks. Will have to really consider buying again from them but will say the shipment of the ones in 4 in. pots were very healthy and happy. The 2" pots a disaster. ... show more

These plants had a rough trip, and I know shipping live plants is tough. Of the 6, 3 were great, 2 were pretty good, and 1 was a total mess. The soil was really wet, and the plant was soggy and slimy. It looks like seaweed. My plant identifier didn't even accept it as a plant, lol. I'm going to try to let it dry out some and maybe see if I can salvage part of it. If not, I still have 5 nice ones that I think will do great. ... show more

These are so cute! Was a little worried to order being that they are live plants being shipped. I do have to say when I opened the box they were all laying down with dirt out of them but once I opened all six I easily put them back together. I would suggest putting dividers in between plants to alleviate this. They will be going in a terrarium. ... show more
