Water it about once a week with approximately 1/4 cup. Ensure excess water drains. Adjust as needed for your environment. Never let Assorted Foliage sit in water or saturated soil. When delivered, it’s about 4-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. Assorted Foliage arrives in a black, 2-inch grower pot. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes. Assorted Foliage is generally a moderate grower, depending on environment and care provided. Boost growth in spring and summer with a fertilizer labeled for potted plants following the product’s instructions. When Assorted Foliage outgrows its current container, repot by gently removing it from its container and placing it in a 2-inch wider container. Fill with potting mix and water thoroughly. Hardy outdoors in USDA Zones 9-11. Exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. I completely forgot about how the shipment would be traveling from Florida up to Wisconsin, and the huge swing in temperatures. I was a bit worried about how they would survive the cold, but after unpacking and repotting, they look pretty good so far! The heating pack was not working by the time I got the package, but I’m thinking the package sat in the UPS warehouse for the entire weekend so that might’ve helped. There were no duplicates in my variety, although i’m still trying to figure out what species a couple of the plants are. A couple of the plants were not doing so well after the first night, but after warming up and getting some water, they look good minus a couple dead leaves. ... show more

These are the worst plans I ever received from this company. One was dead, and the other two were not even a half inch tall.. these plans were ridiculous. What a waste of money!

The media could not be loaded. These 6 plants (bird's nest fern, button fern, begonia, nerve plant, angel wings and palm tree plant) came in the tiny pots nicely wrapped with plastic around them as protection. Conditions of the plants are good, except for dryness to the angel plant. I moved these into little bigger container. I hope they grow well. For the most part, this is a good deal. I ordered the 6 grower pot set and expected to have maybe a duplicate but it's a little annoying to order a set of 6 plants and essentially get 4 different plants. You can see from the photos that 4-5 out of the 6 arrived healthy, one of them has some browning on the edges and the other one has crushed leaves but I'm sure they can be revived. UPS handled this terribly (box was clearly labeled with which side is up, but they delivered it upside down) but this is not at all a knock on or the fault of the seller. Pros: 1. At ~$4 a plant, it's a great deal and better than what you can get at most local stores, granted these are typically smaller than what you can get at your local stores. 2. Despite shipping from FL > CA, the plants arrived mostly healthy and brightly colored 3. I do like the variety of plants I received Cons: 1. One of the plants had a trapped mosquito that flew out the moment I cut the plastic wrapping. Fortunately it was lethargic from the shipping trip and I was able to track it down and kill it. Not ideal for someone with a newborn child in the house. 2. As you can see 4 of the plants are actually 2 plants but in different color variations. I get that this is a grower's choice, and the colors are different enough that I can let the duplicates pass but it's not ideal to order 6 plants and basically receive 4 plants with 2 duplicates. On the plus side, I suppose it makes caring for the plants easier. I will reserve my full judgement until I repot the plants but I could have gone to my local garden store and bought a larger plant at $6-7 a plant. While $4/plant is a good deal, I would not have bought two different variations of two different plants if I was able to pick myself, so at the end of the day the price balances itself out. I will give it 4 stars because the plants arrived mostly healthy, but I cannot recommend this if you are looking for a specific variety OR if you are looking for 6 different plants with this order. I'm sure some might get lucky and get all 6 different plants, but I wasn't one of the lucky ones. ... show more

I had ordered some plants from another store earlier. The description said 4" tall. At most, one plant was that tall when it arrived. The plastic pots the plants came in are only about an inch in diameter. Two of the plants were dead when they arrived, three had some damaged leaves, only one was nice. Second year I have purchased this six pack, I replanted these into 4" pots and will move them to a shady space I have on my patio this summer after my pansy's look sad. Oct 24, 2022. Delivered and look just like the pictures. In great shape. Plants were in strong box. If your plants arrived all tossed around or dry/dead, then blame your shipper/delivery driver. My UPS driver is top notch and pays attention to a box that says live plants keep-upright. Other shipper that starts with F and ends with x tosses packages around like luggage at an airport. Will order again from company. Update: Nov 16, 2023 - so all six plants survived the year. As always when ordering plants, they arrive very small - that's the value. If you want bigger plants, go to a local store and spend 15-20 bucks a piece. Otherwise, enjoy helping the plants to grow. Once they arrived, I let them sit in a windowsill (no sun) for a week to acclimate, Then I transferred them to a 4" pot. Based on type, they either get some light, full bright light, part sun, or full sun. After 5 months, they transfer to a 6-8" pot. Now it's been a year. Some plants are 18" tall, some are 24"-48" hanging and some are known to be slow growers like this palm. The palm is only 12" tall, but full. It is considered a very slow grower. You need to read about your plant and understand it's speed and size. ... show more
