  • The best all-in-one mushroom bags I have ever purchased!!!
These are the best all-in-one mushroom bags I have ever purchased!!! Ignore the haters...They don't know what they're doing. As a comparison, I got a different brand prior to this one and 12 out of the 14 bags came with contamination and the seller turned his back on the situation and blamed the spores I was using which is an easy way out. Contrary to this, this wonderful Booming acre seller was quick to replace one solitary bag that just didn't take after I purchased a whopping 11other bags that all have progressed beautifully. There's no telling what could have been the reason for the bag that didn't take, but after a second run of inoculating it and a month past my original purchase, I reached out & this seller replaced that bag without delay or any hassle whatsoever. And even throughout the process of my adventure into growing mushrooms (as I am still a beginner,) he gave me incredible guidance & tips whenever I reached out. For example, he suggested that if you're using a heating pad it has been his experience that turning the bag upside down prior to the first shake and break which can better preserve the moisture helping the bag to not dry out but still flourish with the needed heat. That's just one of several very helpful suggestions he offered. Have you heard of old fashioned service? This is the little store you want to go to for that. Meaning, it is exceptional in it's customer service etiquette, (kind, professional, patient, and responsive) and it has an excellent product to boot!!! Beginners like me need all the help we can get and I can only give high praise that so many bags have worked out so well! This is the second purchase I have made with this seller and you can't get much better than this! Fruitful bags each time They are not just clean and sterile--They have something in them that make the mushrooms flourish! BEAR IN MIND that in the pics I posted, I had already picked quite a bit before I thought to take a picture as I was SO excited. I should also add that I purchased four other bags from yet a different merchant than the other one previously mentioned in this post and those bags arrived not contaminated but hardened, with very little space & naturally dried very quickly, & of the mushrooms that survived they were frail, small and not nearly as robust as the ones in the Booming acre bags. This is important because it means the spores were not the issue nor were the conditions I put them in as they were all in the same environment, but the special ingredients and perfect conditions of these Booming Acre bags from the jump start is what made all the difference. Deciding which bags can be a difficult process, look no more. Buy these!!! You will get excellent customer service AND an exceptional product!!! ... show more

  • 100% legit
Picture quality isn't the best but I inoculated this grow bag on November 27th. Fast forward to December 15th I'd say there was about 20% of mycelium in the grow bag. If you read their instructions it says to wait until the mycelium is 50-80% colonized before doing your break and shake. I read online that you can do the break and shake when your grow bag is 20-30% colonized, and I was pretty impatient and excited since it's my first time so I did the break and shake on the 15th. Now that doesn't mean I'll do it again that early, but these pictures are from today (December 24th) only 9 days later and as you can see there's a whole lot more mycelium. Absolutely amazing. That goes to show you that this bag definitely works even after doing the break and shake earlier than the instructions say. I still don't recommend doing it that early. I will definitely be buying again but next time I'll be a little more patient. If this bag works for me then it'll definitely work for you. Also, I recommend using only 5cc's of your spore syringe. A friend of mine used 10cc's even though I told him it was unnecessary and his bag got contaminated. Even 3cc's should be fine. Hopefully all continues to turn out well with this bag Edit: Today is February 7th. I want to say that this bag 100% works. Even despite any contamination anyone experiences, which can sometimes happen. This bag endured a 15 hour drive and then a 36 hour drive across the country. It was very hard keeping it humid and at the same time keeping myself comfortable for the drives. I eventually put the cake in a bin, and for anyone without a humidifier know that putting a blanket over the bin works. I wasn't getting any fruits because of the lack of humidity, but once I put a blanket over it was able to stay humid and I saw some fruits. Only problem I'm having right now is that the cake is fruiting only in a couple of spots, but it could just be because of all it had to endure, plus the lack of humidity for a little bit. It's pretty cool though because one of the fruits is actually mutated, like a big mushroom blob, but it looks healthy. I would take pictures but I'm currently away from it. What I would say is if you buy this bag and experience contamination just try it again. I'm sure I'm one of the few people who put this bag through hell, so if I was able to get something out of it then eventually you'll be able to as well. And from now on I'll only be buying from Boomingacres. ... show more

  • Potential Product Contamination and Disappointing Customer Service
As an experienced fungus cultivator, I was eager to try this product, but my experience has been deeply disappointing, prompting me to caution other potential buyers. The initial excitement of my purchase quickly faded when I noticed black discoloration in the growing fungus, a clear sign of contamination. Expecting a supportive response, I contacted customer service, only to be bluntly told that the issue was my fault, with no consideration of the product’s quality. My concerns were further validated after reading several reviews from other customers who faced similar quality issues and poor customer service experiences. This pattern indicates a recurring problem that goes beyond individual cases. Seeking a second opinion, I consulted another company with the evidence at hand. They agreed that the substrate was indeed contaminated, which directly contradicts the response I received from customer service. I recommend potential buyers to be wary. The lack of adequate customer support and accountability for product quality are significant drawbacks. I've since found another company that not only acknowledged the issue but provided the customer care and product guarantee one would expect. In conclusion, while I had high hopes for this product, the reality did not meet expectations. For those considering this purchase, I suggest looking for a vendor that offers both reliable product quality and responsive customer service. ... show more
