Description

Our 5lb Magical All-In-One mushroom grow bags are perfect for manure/dung loving mushroom growing; easy for beginners, perfect for everyone! Our products ship completely sterile, quality tested, and made with premium materials. Harvest your own happiness! Discover the Magic of Growing Mushrooms! Bags come with alcohol prep pads, instructional insert, and free super cool stickers! Colonize in the bag, fruit in the bag! All you need to do is inject your choice of genetics (not included), wait for colonization to occur, mix with the substrate layer, then wait for fruit and harvest! We use high quality ingredients! High quality coir, locally sourced grains, bags made in Texas, Azomite for additional yield and potency. We also prepare all of our materials before they are bagged, no bagging machines, no 'no prep' grains, all of our materials are made using the most efficient methods for producing HIGH QUALITY products, compared to other vendors who make their bags trying to get high PROFITS. Amount grown depends on variety and the genetics used. Check our website for more detailed use instructions. We've experimented with our grain recipes for years and found what works and what doesn't. What doesn't work is mixing dry grain into overly wet substrate and hoping they even out during sterilization. What does work is preparing our grains by letting them soak, then boil, then bag and sterilize, ensuring that each grain is thoroughly hydrated in the process. We use locally sourced materials from here in the midwest. Oats from local farms, red sorghum milo from local farms, and rye from local farms. What we use depends on what's available for the week, but what we know is that it'll be made right and it'll work well, for all types of mushrooms! We use the same recipe for our substrate now as we did 15 years ago when we started growing mushrooms, but now with a bit more kick! We were the first company to start offering Azomite in our substrate, a trace mineral mined in Utah from the remains of a volcanic erruption. This addition gives our substrate additional minerals which mean more mushrooms, bigger mushrooms, and faster growth. The best part is, Azomite is OMRI certified organic! We also source our coir through a tested vendor. After trying out several vendors we have found a vendor who makes coir to our specifications for exactly what we need, making our substrate perfect for growing mushrooms! Our substrate is made separate from our grains, hydrated to ensure large fruit development, and bagged separately from our grains, meaning each layer is made properly to compliment one another! Our All-In-One bags don't come mixed up; leaving other organisms hiding inside, cutting corners on proper grain and substrate creation, and leaving you wondering if your mycelium is growing or not. When you get growth, you'll see it! Unlike other bags, our All-In-One bags condense as they colonize, meaning they stay solid from one flush to the next. This means that you don't get just one harvest from them, you can get 2, 3, even 4 or more! Whether you choose to fruit in the bag, as a cake, or a mix of both methods, following our simple instructions will get you the results you're looking for; without falling apart after your first flush. Grains made right Substrate with history Growth you can see Flushes on flushes Our bags are produced with no cut corners! Unlike other vendors who use over hydrated substrate to try to hydrate a small amount of grain mixed throughout the bag, we hydrate our grain blend and measure it into the bag before adding our substrate blend on top. This ensures that our materials are properly hydrated! Our recipes are well crafted and dialed in to produce a consistent product from batch to batch without taking short cuts. We produce our bags with a custom blend of grain farmed here in the midwest of the USA. Our substrate comes with the highest quality ingredients. We utilize Azomite as a substrate additive to produce the results that our growers love! Want the results of a manure based substrate without having to bring animal manure into your home? We've got you covered! Leaving the grain layer separate from the substrate layer also allows your mycelium to easily find nutrients as it grows, giving it a stable food source to feed on and get energy from rather than constantly searching for food throughout its life cycle. This easy access to food in the mycelium's early life means fast consistent growth without the stress of having to search for food! Less stress means a smoother grow with more mushrooms! Some vendors use smaller seals on bags as a way to cut costs on equipment, not us! We use a 10mm seal to ensure that our bags can handle being mixed up without worrying about being split open. This seal also ensures that nothing can enter our product once it leaves our facility. Our custom sized bags are produced in the USA in Texas, they come with a .2 micron filter which is verified by the quality control standards of the bag producers. This is extremely important, some competitors try to cut costs by purchasing bags from overseas where they are produced cheaply with no quality oversights. This can reduce costs for those vendors but in the end means more failure and wasted projects! Our bags are also produced with injection ports attached, which shows our commitment to getting the highest quality materials possible.

  • Amazing grains & substrate & customer service is the highest I ever tried!!
Let me first begin by saying that I am not getting paid or incentivized for this review in any way. This is solely based on my personal experience for the last 2 years of buying Delicious and Magical all-in-one 3 lbs & 5 lbs substrate bags for both the gourmet and psilocybin mushrooms. I have tried three other companies I'm not going to mention names because this review will not be approved but the results weren't nearly as good or one company I purchased two bags and had them replaced twice and all of them had contamination. I am not new to this because I also do tissue culture and it requires extreme cleanliness and prevention of cross-contamination so I'm very familiar with the process and I know what I'm doing and I'm 100% positive It wasn't human error meaning mine but the substrate was contaminated. I also tried a half a dozen different liquid culture and spores and also had terrible results until I found Booming Acres by accident simply watching videos on Google and YouTube of different mycologists and one of them recommended to either make your own substrate or to purchase it from Booming Acres. So, I did just that and after speaking to Howard who is the CEO of the company and very pleasant and professional and extremely helpful individual, he recommended to try FullCanopy for psilocybin liquid cultures and for gourmet liquid cultures he recommended to try his. So I purchased two bags of Delicious and two bags of Magical all-in-one substrate bags and Blue Oyster, King Oyster, and Lion's Mane from him and Golden Teacher from FullCanopy And I was amazed at the quality of the substrate and liquid cultures I didn't have a single problem so I was definitely sold. Then I purchased eight more bags of Magical all-in-one bags and six more of the Delicious bags and wanted to try B+ FullCanopy didn't have it so I called Howard and he said he recommends trying SporesMD because he was adding them as one of his affiliates that he recommends using and says if I get a bad culture he would replace the substrate which was pleasantly surprising information. I did just that and unfortunately my first purchase of B+ got contaminated and both the culture and substrate were replaced without giving me any hard time at all and I even offered to pay for shipping for both items and both places told me not to worry about it and sent me replacements and paid for shipping and sent the tracking information and the replacements worked perfectly and I had three great flushes as you can see in the pictures I provided. I prefer liquid culture over spores because spores take twice as long or even longer in some cases to colonize versus liquid culture takes about 2 weeks to get to 50% colonized and then even at 30% I have mixed the grains and the substrate to fully colonized and it worked just as good as when I waited until grains got colonized to 50% mycelium which takes about 2 weeks and then after mixing substrate and grains together if it takes another 2 weeks for the whole brick to become covered with white mycelium and then it's time to initiate fruiting which I have tried using a monotub and without it and exposing the brick out of the bag but it's unnecessary and even having substrate to fill up the mono tub I thought would give me higher yield but it provides the same amount as when I simply fruited them inside the 5 lbs all-in-one bag and much less chance of getting contamination so I continue fruiting them inside the bags and I don't have space in my tent so I use a monotub with a couple of inches of perlite at the bottom tray and I add water and then a sheet of tin foil to keep proper level of moisture inside the tub and I put rubber bands around the substrate to force fruiting upwards instead of wasting energy on mushrooms growing from the sides and from the bottom only to die before they are fully developed because of not enough space and that would reduce your yield so by adding rubber bands you don't get any growth on the sides or from the bottom and they all fruit upwards and you can see the pictures and it's obvious the yields are massive 😎 I have sent Howard close to 100 emails already asking a ton of questions and providing pictures and asking for advice and every single time Howard goes above and beyond to provide as detailed information as possible to make sure I get the best possible results and never did not answer my question or told me to stop bothering him lol. Because of him and his detailed instructions that are very easy to understand I have amazing results and now I no longer need his help for the most part and I am having the best results I ever had. I can't thank him enough for all of his help. I have friends and their friends constantly asking me where I get my substrate and Blue Oyster and King Oyster and Lion's Mane cultures and I send everyone to Booming Acres I always tell them to please take my advice and don't do what I did and waste time and money on anything else because they will be disappointed if they don't take my advice, and now every time we speak they thank me every single time 😀. When it comes to value, Booming Acres has the best prices and besides having very competitive pricing they have the best quality that I had the chance to try and use and he didn't stop there and very often offers 20% off, 40% off, and uncertain holidays like Black Friday or Christmas or 4th of July and possibly other ones I can't recall is when he goes up to 60% off which is unheard of. If you like to grow a lot of different varieties and need multiple bags of substrate, then he also has five bags options for the price of four bags plus if you get them during a holiday you will pay for two bags and to get five of them or pay for three and get five but even the deal Pay for four bags and receive five is still an outstanding deal and very cost effective and if you use his affiliates And you happen to get contamination, he will always honor his warranty and will replace that bag and liquid culture if what his gourmet culture without any questions asked. You should also then contact that affiliate company if you purchased their liquid culture and tell them of the contamination and that Howard CEO of Booming Acres is replacing the substrate and that you would like to get a replacement of that culture and just like Howard they will replace it no questions asked. The last time this happened to me not only Howard sent me a new bag but refused my offer to pay for shipping and I reached out to the affiliate and they too sent me a replacement and when I open the bag I was pleasantly surprised to see my replacement and an extra 10 mL liquid culture of a different strain 😎 which I didn't ask for and wasn't informed and they just included an extra one just because. That was such a nice gesture and once again shows how professional these guys are and how much they care about their customers' satisfaction. If you have never grown mushrooms before and would like to try even if you don't have space for a tent, you don't really need one and you don't really need a monotub either, I highly recommend reaching out to Howard via email and he will respond within 24 hours with answers to your questions and any recommendations he thinks that would be of help to you. Growing mushrooms is really easy and the only thing you need to make sure is use gloves and alcohol and mask to prevent cross-contamination and providing proper temperature and humidity for the mushroom variety you're growing because each variety needs different parameters. Some mushrooms prefer 60 to 65° temperature Fahrenheit while others would grow fine at 70 to 75° and humidity for the most part should be high between 75 and 95% with some like to be closer to 95% while others would be fine at 75 to 85% and Howard will definitely point you in the right direction and tell you exactly what you need to get excellent results. I hope this review helps make an informed and educated decision. Happy Growing!🍄 ... show more

  • Bad bag with known good genetics.
Product arrived on time. I inspected for any damage or possible contamination points and found none. Everything looked fine so I proceeded to inoculate bag with 1/2 syringe of liquid culture. I use proper sterilization technique before doing so. I use the other half of the liquid culture on a bag from a different provider both on the same day. The booming acres bag seemed to colonize a little slower than the other bag. About 30% colonization the booming acres bag seemed to stall. It was still colonizing, but it a much slower, rate. It reached 50% colonization a full month after the other bag. Upon mixing the growth stopped, and after a couple of weeks showed signs of mold or some type of contamination while the other bag did beautifully from the same liquid culture. I have used booming acres products before with success. But this experience was terrible. I would like to use booming acres products in the future, but I worry about consistency of quality product. I am unsure if this was an old bag or what the problem was. Whatever it was it’s time and money down the drain. I have used three out of four booming acres bags with successful results but for me a 25% failure rate is unacceptable. I hope this feedback helps others make an intelligent decision on their product choice. ... show more

  • Lions Maine
Thiswas the greatest little thing ,that was ever mailed to my house . I could grow my own mushrooms and it worked absolutely wonderful. I kept it in my closet and just kept picking off the mushrooms as they grew the lions mane. I would absolutely order this product again.

  • Very effective, mostly beginner friendly
I am a first time grower and I made a lot of mistakes while trying it out for the first time, a lot lot of mistakes and I learned a lot from this. I thought it was just injecting spores and 8 weeks later I would have mushrooms when I purchased this. I should have spent several more days researching before trying to grow for myself. That being said, I still managed to get 70g of dried mushrooms after 2.5 months out of this bag with all the mistakes, will definitely be using them again. Very forgiving and effective product, but do some research beforehand! ... show more

  • 3/4 worked
I ordered 4 bags. The dates on three of my bags were over a year old and one of my bags was only three weeks old. Regardless there wasn't any difference between any of the bags as far as visual inspection and moisture content. All bags are colonizing without any signs of contamination. Very nice. Only thing I would change about this experience is that it's probably best to order directly off of the Booming Acres website so you don't get old bags. Not saying anything is wrong with old bags, if probably sterilized and packaged they should be good for a while but every grower should be using the freshest resources available. Growing and buying All in bags isn't the norm in this hobby because it gets expensive but these bags are good to get you into mycology by teaching you about how to provide the conditions for life and how to get started. Update: one of my four bags ended up getting contaminated. Not good. I probably won't recommend these. ... show more

  • Doesnt feel vacuum sealed, but it is sterile
I dont know if it was the fault of the bag or the spores I had, but nothing happened in this bag. It does seem to still be sealed, though. The substrate/grains look nicely prepped despite not feeling vacuum sealed enough to be tight in the package, so the bag itself seems durable enough. Its a good size for the price. It was easy enough to use, considering there's no mold growth even though nothing else is growing. ... show more

  • The best all-in-one mushroom bags I have ever purchased!!!
These are the best all-in-one mushroom bags I have ever purchased!!! Ignore the haters...They don't know what they're doing. As a comparison, I got a different brand prior to this one and 12 out of the 14 bags came with contamination and the seller turned his back on the situation and blamed the spores I was using which is an easy way out. Contrary to this, this wonderful Booming acre seller was quick to replace one solitary bag that just didn't take after I purchased a whopping 11other bags that all have progressed beautifully. There's no telling what could have been the reason for the bag that didn't take, but after a second run of inoculating it and a month past my original purchase, I reached out & this seller replaced that bag without delay or any hassle whatsoever. And even throughout the process of my adventure into growing mushrooms (as I am still a beginner,) he gave me incredible guidance & tips whenever I reached out. For example, he suggested that if you're using a heating pad it has been his experience that turning the bag upside down prior to the first shake and break which can better preserve the moisture helping the bag to not dry out but still flourish with the needed heat. That's just one of several very helpful suggestions he offered. Have you heard of old fashioned service? This is the little store you want to go to for that. Meaning, it is exceptional in it's customer service etiquette, (kind, professional, patient, and responsive) and it has an excellent product to boot!!! Beginners like me need all the help we can get and I can only give high praise that so many bags have worked out so well! This is the second purchase I have made with this seller and you can't get much better than this! Fruitful bags each time They are not just clean and sterile--They have something in them that make the mushrooms flourish! BEAR IN MIND that in the pics I posted, I had already picked quite a bit before I thought to take a picture as I was SO excited. I should also add that I purchased four other bags from yet a different merchant than the other one previously mentioned in this post and those bags arrived not contaminated but hardened, with very little space & naturally dried very quickly, & of the mushrooms that survived they were frail, small and not nearly as robust as the ones in the Booming acre bags. This is important because it means the spores were not the issue nor were the conditions I put them in as they were all in the same environment, but the special ingredients and perfect conditions of these Booming Acre bags from the jump start is what made all the difference. Deciding which bags can be a difficult process, look no more. Buy these!!! You will get excellent customer service AND an exceptional product!!! ... show more
