Works great for my 18' above ground pool. Don't use Teflon tape on connections using an O- ring. Only use hand pressure. I had no leaks other than on the clamps so I upgraded to a wider clamp and use some Teflon tape on the neck just as a space filler for the hose to be tight fit. Good buy for the money. FYI. I used 150lbs of sand.

Well built, great price and smooth, quiet operation. The package was missing a metal nut to secure the band clamp for the multiport valve, otherwise everything checked out. Be aware that the pump's actual flow rate is almost always LESS than advertised especially if you install anything less than 2" diameter pipes. I measured at most 55 GPM instead of the advertised 82 GPM using 1.5" pipe. This isn't Lanchez's fault, just normal, real-world conditions that depend on pipe diameters, obstructions to flow, vertical draw, etc.

Wow! Can’t say enough how well this pump works to keep my 48x18 round above-ground pool. It runs circles around the one provided by mfg of Bestway pools. My pump went out in the heat of Texas summer and I was without a pump for 3 weeks before I received this one. It cleared up Algae problem so quickly with a little help from my pool robot and shock. So quiet too! Very happy! Edited to add: Better setup instructions and a manual would make it 6 ⭐️
