I thought my dog, who needs a teeth cleaning, would run away when I tried to wipe his teeth down but he didn't. The curious cat was my next "victim". Both would not open their mouths for me on the 1st try trying to use these wipes but I did see some brown tarter on the wipe just wiping their front teeth. They didn't notice a bad taste either. My 1st attempt was when they were relaxed stretched out on my couch chilling. I will keep trying making this into a regular routine. Eventually they will know it's not so awful a routine. A neighbor on a neighborhood website was asking for referrals to get her cat's teeth cleaned as the vet she went to quoted her a price of $900! Of course it would be a thorough professional cleaning but get real..$900 is crazy. Just like makeup remover sheets these will dry out if the container is not sealed tight, kept in a cool place and used within a couple months. These finger wipes are large enough for larger pets than mine too. Glad to have these & that wiping their teeth down wasn't a bad experience for the dog, cat or me. ... show more

I bought these for my cat since his breath smells like a rotting tuna carcass. The size of them is perfect to cover my finger and snug enough that is doesn’t just slip around when I’m using it. They don’t have a smell at all and seem to have clean ingredients I can identify. I do notice less smelly breath after I’ve used this and sometimes I can even see a bit of color from what comes off my cat’s teeth. The downside is that this material isn’t great against sharp cat teeth so it shreds a little and creates some strings. Not too bad, but it might not happen on dog teeth that are larger and slightly more rounded. ... show more

I had previously been trying to use a tooth brush on my little dachshund, and she hated it so much. I think the sensation was just too odd for her and she fought me like crazy. These things she doesn’t mind nearly as much. She still fights a little but it’s much more receptive. These are already pre-moistened which is nice but I do still add a little bit of doggy tooth paste for her stinky breath. It’s very easy to slip this in your finger and go to town in the teeth. They have no scent really, which I love, they’re gentle and I also get to see the gunk come off in them so I know they’re working. Very happy with these! ... show more

These come in a nice container and wipes are appropriately moist. My dog didn’t mind the taste at all, but it didn’t necessarily help his breath. They are easy and convenient to use.

These tooth wipes did clean the teeth. If you cannot get your dog to comply with a toothbrush or a a finger brush then you should probably try this. This worked better for me because it looked less intimidating to my dog and he knows its just paper on my finger. For now this will do until he gets used to it, then we will maybe graduate to a finger brush. This will not get into all angles of the teeth but it’s a good start. ... show more

If you're looking for an easy way to clean your pet's teeth, this is it. Open the cap, slip one of these wipes onto your finger, and start rubbing away. My dog hates when I use a brush with doggie toothpaste. Even when the toothpaste is chicken flavored. At first, he was a little reluctant with the wipes but cooperated after a few attempts. Did it remove a ton of gunk on the first shoot? Nope, it didn't. As you can see from the pic I uploaded, that's one wipe I used on his mouth for a few minutes. It's a little discolored, which shows it did something. I will continue to use these wipes every other day in hopes they can remove more gunk over time and prevent any oral health issues. I love these wipes for my dogs teeth. First off my dog hates his teeth to get brushed to the point when I use a toothbrush his gums bleed from trying to get in to all his teeth. Ever since I used these he so much more calm and I can feel each tooth and wipe it and no blood. It has a bit of texture to it so I can feel it clean his teeth. Highly recommend ... show more

I love this idea and I LOVE that these are plant based and natural, as they have a lot of really strong elements for good dental hygiene. I've never tried to brush my cats teeth before, but I don't want to have to get them removed some day and I didn't want to try toothpaste even if it is for animals. Neither cat is particularly willing to allow me to use these, although the concept itself is very simple to grasp. So, I haven't successfully used them yet, but they do smell good to me.
