This product overall is great because the price point is right on. The screen is very big for my car which is a good thing because it made it really easy. The packaging looks professional too so I will get another one just for a gift for my coworker. Also, with this, you do not need to use your phone and use your data plan for gps which can a perk for some folks. The features are pretty awesome as it contains a lot of features that you will need and want at the same time. I would say this is a useful and fun product to have.

The media could not be loaded. This thing is pretty cool! I drive an older car (2006) that doesn’t have a lot of modern features, so this is a cool supplement that integrates my hi-tech iPhone! Most of my trouble installing it was because I’m not used to modifying cars, but the actual device is real simple. The Install: a lot of swearing, but I figured it out and it was worth it. The instructions are a bit vague, but basically right. The rear camera only has one wire- connect to the (green) reverse light to trigger it. It took a little bit of doing to drill a hole, splice the trigger wire, feed the cable (back seat doesn’t pop down so I lifted the seat and used a wire to fish it through), and connect the line to the display on the dash. I’m a little handy, but not a car guy- lots of online resources helped me figure it out. Once I plugged it in, it came right to life. Connecting to my phone was super easy, and setting up the FM transmitter took no time all (because of course this car doesn’t have an aux plug). (And of course, that’s when I found out that had I installed the camera upside down at first. The little printed model name should be on top. Learn from my mistakes.) Man, it’s nifty- I can airplay/carplay to the device from my phone, keep the reverse camera on the screen if I want to see behind me. The bright touchscreen is super responsive and I’m really impressed by the sticky suction mount holding it at a weird angle. I set it up right above my shifter, and I can finally control the settings from a comfortable reach instead of awkwardly punching on my phone on the AC vent while leaning forward. They thoughtfully added a USB-A socket to the plug too, so I don’t lose a place to plug my phone charging cable either. I calibrated the guide lines and parallel parked a few times, getting a feel for how close things should look. The fisheye lens makes it easy to tell when you’re right up against an object. Now my only regret is I might forget how to gauge distance without this thing.

This is what you need when you have old car. It has ton of features like wireless Android auto, Apple car play and Bluetooth audio. The device comes with speaker so you can play in the speaker or you can connect to car speaker as well. It also has screen mirror which is really useful to watch videos while you are waiting in the car in the parking lot. It also comes with Backup camera which is really easy to install and it comes with all the instructions to connect in your car. Unfortunately, it does not have video recording.

It does its job. I wish the instruction were a little clearer but I got everything working. The touch screen could be better but it is usable. This would be a five if the touch screen was better. I got this because my Jeep is just old enough that there is no Android Auto, and the built in map app socks. At least I can use Google Map.

I know that I should expect it to work since I paid for it but still had super low expectation due to all the reviews…turns out it doesn’t only work but also does everything it says it would. Backup cam works great, apple carplay works flawlessly (haven’t tried android yet), and screen mirroring is crisp, plus there’s no delay when I cast youtube on it. Overall I think I got my money’s worth with this. Not an ounce of buyer remorse :)

The media could not be loaded. The box comes with very few real instructions for installation and includes many pieces that have no label or callout in the manual. I spent hours installing it and the backup camera, and when I plugged the device into the audio plug of my car to use with Bluetooth to my phone, it makes a constant crackling sound. There are other options such as Bluetooth transmission, but this is worse quality in other ways and I'd much prefer to use the audio plug option. Disappointed after so much installation process with the backup camera that the audio quality on my model has poor. May be a defective model, but Amazon has said I can return for replacement which would involve undoing the hours of installation to do it all over again.

Negative - Works good for the most part EXCEPT for the random shutoff and reboot. At times, it will shutoff / reboot on its own within 10 minutes of usage. Sometimes it will shutoff/reboot after 30minutes of usage. Positive - not a bad screen, backup camera w/ calibration works well, apple car play works. Overall - I'm giving it 2 stars because of the random shutoff and reboot.
