This is a beautiful set of two bamboo desk clamps. They’d be appropriate for a bedroom desk or a living room. They use the standard E26 light socket, which accommodates a wide variety of lights and has a 100W capacity. This would result in a very bright light in LA daylight. Lights are 25 1/2 inches tall with a 13-inch lamp body. There are bamboo designs with a wood base. In many warm climates, people often use bamboo-designed furniture as it allows air to circulate, preventing humidity issues with their clothing. Detailed instructions are supplied with this product. There is no electrical installation issue with simply plugging it into the wall. You must thread the light socket and connected to the base and then attach the shade holder to the light socket and screw in the lightbulb which is included. The plug is polarized, meaning that one of the terminals of the US-style plug is larger than the others, so it only fits in one way. That's so that the positive line receives current, and there’s a neutral line with the current flowing through it as well. The shade must be assembled before installation, and there are two rings to install on the shade: the top ring and the bottom ring, both made of plastic to maintain the shade in a good circular position. This pair of lamps is pretty. They'd easily fit into boho, coastal, or mcm styles. The shades shipped flat, which I'd never encountered before but it's so smart! That reduced the box size a lot, which is cheaper and better for the planet. The shades snapped together in seconds, and all that was left to do was screw in the bulbs (which were included!) and plug these beauties in. My wife absolutely loved these lamps!!! What a great product for the price. They are neutral color so they can go with any color scheme. You have to build the shade but it was very simple to do. Very good product.
