This moisturizer is so underrated. My skin feels instantly soft, calm, and hydrated after using it. As someone with rosacea (type 1) and very sensitive, dry skin, what I like most about this moisturizer is what's NOT in it. I want moisturizer that simply moisturizes my skin, without any fancy add-ons that my skin can't tolerate. I've been amazed at how hard it is to find an effective moisturizer that's not stuffed with fragrance, essential oils, botanical extracts, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and other ingredients my skin can't tolerate. Enter this little gem. It makes my skin feel so soft and smoothe, but without any irritating ingredients. Yes, it is a bit pricey for the amount, but worth it for me and they have sales frequently. I will say that it is not quite moisturizing enough on its own for my dry skin (I know they have a balm version, but it has shea butter and that makes my skin break out if I use too much of it), so I layer an occlusive sunscreen on top of it in the AM, and I use their barrier cream (Cicafalte) on top in the PM, and it's perfect. Since this product has such a simple ingredient list, it's also great to use with actives (I currently have a prescription rosacea cream that includes azelaic acid). Love this product! I recently developed ocular rosacea and this cream was first one I found to actually help sooth my skin. The bottle is a bit pricey, but it really goes a long way and the results were worth it!

My dermatologist recommended this cream and it is amazing. I am in my 50s with very dry skin and this is helping me tremendously. She also told me that it doesn’t have many harmful preservatives that can aggravate my rosacea. I love it.
