This is a wonderfully made, extremely comfortable, and durable blanket. A few notes for potential buyers: the base of the fin is not sewn shut so there is a hole where one's feet can potentially stick out if one pulled the blanket very high up on one's body. I personally don't mind this too much as the blanket is very long and I can pull it up to my chest /collarbone without my feet sticking out of the hole (I'm 5'6"). The picture also insinuates a "sparkly" quality to the fabric in my opinion, but really it is just made with several different colors (no sparkles). I was initially a little disappointed that there was no glittery quality to the product but I don't mind much anymore as I've had it for the past week and enjoy it so much! It is so versatile and I can wear it while working at my desk to keep my legs and feet warm when an ordinary blanket just falls off or lets heat escape. It has a large slit down the back that makes it easy to put on/wear and it's relatively stretchy so I don't have to worry about ripping or damaging it. I can even scrunch up in a ball while wearing it, still be comfortable, and not ruin the blanket! The product is also soft and for the most part doesn't make me feel too hot or cold while wearing it. As a college student and mermaid enthusiast, this is the perfect product to help inject a little relaxation and fun into a busy day of reading, bookwork, or writing. Would definitely recommend to a friend (my boyfriend already wants something similar in fact) and/or purchase again!

Worth the price! I purchased this as a gift for my 16yr old sister. I ordered the adult sized mint wave. The blanket is thin, and has pen size holes in it (not by mistake, its part if the pattern). This is not good for something who is looking for a warm blanket. The tail is not as large/robust as pictured either. The wave pattern is as shown & the tail is nice (just not big & perfect as the main picture). The main color is more of a mint blue… BUT had a mix of mint green, dark gray, orange, and white yarn stitching in it… VERY odd color choices, it sort of clashes! I was not expecting ORANGE… I would have guessed a peach or pink color from the other pictures from buyers. There were also a few areas with loose stitching that I had to pull, tie, and cut. It took about 5 minutes for me to fix them all. They seemed pointless… like someone strung a random line of stitch about an inch wide with no purpose. I was too afraid to pull it all the way out though incase looks were deceiving. The necklace was like a piece of quarter machine jewelry, which was totally expected! I used it in the bow on the gift as a decoration. I’m sure a little girl would love it though. There is a small hole... you could cross your feet and fit them into the tail area. Okay, I know I gave this 4 stars and everything I said was a negative about the product, but I think that’s what helps people decide! I did research before choosing this company because of how many scams are out there, from my experience, this place is safe to order from. The other pictures they provide show the way the tail actually looks. You really can't beat their price! I am going to order the magenta one with the tassels next. I didn't take any pictures of my sister using the blanket, I will add some at some point if I am able to! (their thank you letter gave me a chuckle too!)

After carefully researching other mermaid blankets, I finally decided on the LAGHCAT, and I'm so glad I did. I purchased them for my two nieces (7 and 9) for Christmas. I opted for the adult blanket after reading a few of the reviews. The blanket wasn't too big for two little girls and allowed plenty of blanket to cover the upper body. I got the Lovely Green and Pink and they were both very pretty. The blankets arrived in vacuumed sealed bags that were inside of the drawstring bag along with the mermaid necklace. I took them out of the inner bag and did not detect any smell. The blankets are beautiful and my nieces loved them. They had a mermaid sack race in them and the blankets held up fine. They also loved the necklace (mermaid was about 2" so a little large but my nieces thought they were great). There is a small hole in the bottom of the blanket, but it is not big enough to walk around while wearing the blanket. The back is opened towards the top but closed at the bottom so your feet stay snuggled but you can move your body and arms around without feeling claustrophobic. I thought the price was great for all that you got--pristine packaging; soft, snuggly blanket; adorable necklace and a nice cinch-sack bag. Would definitely buy again.

My little sister adores this. The color is so cute. It keeps her warm through the cold months and she leaves it hang over the end of her bed when she isn’t using it because the material is so cute. Size is pretty true to scale. Easy to clean we just throw it in the wash and it smells great. Ease of use is a little hard but it’s kind of targeted to kids, so it’s much easier for them. Love the product overall.
