I bought this La Reveuse mini blender for smoothies. I just subscribed to a place that sends frozen cups of fruits and veggies and all I have to do is add liquid of my choice, ice if want, and blend. I didn't want to use my big blender for such a small task so I spent a lot of time looking for a simple but decent quality small blender for my smoothies. I finally settled on this one and it works exactly as I hoped. I put the big chunks of fruit in the bottle when they are frozen solid. I add a little almond milk, some protein powder, and a few mini ice cubes and push the bottle down. The blades rip through everything and make great smoothies. I do tend to push the bottle down, stop and shake the bottle once and continue to be sure I get it all but that's no big deal. I was nervous because I had to put the bottle on the blades upside down so I imagined a lot of leakage. There has been none at all. The only issue I have is that the smoothies I make are way too thick to drink out of the hole in the cap of the bottle. I pour the smoothie into another bottle or glass and enjoy it that way. If I made something thinner, the bottle and cap would come in very handy and it may down the road as I experiment with other things I can whip up. For now, I am happy to have such a small appliance that works so well and cleans up easily. I think I made the right choice. I will know for sure after several weeks of use. Pros: Smaller footprint than reg blender, purees chunky things pretty good. Awesome for protein shakes. No USB plug, uses reg cord. pop on drink ready top. Cons: I thought the plastic body was kinda thin & cheap compared to the unit. It could get smelly over time with different products unless you rinse right away, which I’ve been doing & so far ok. Its the last item I wanted for my 2nd floor home office and it does its job. Power cord kinda short. ... show more

I went on a shopping binge during prime days and this was a great deal. It’s lightweight, easy to use and clean but I failed to read the description thoroughly (I blame prime day excitement) and you can’t put ice in it. So as I was going to take out the box and start using it, I read the instructions booklet and I was devastated (a bit dramatic) that it said you cannot put ice in it. Well not cubes anyway…either way for me it doesn’t work so I’m sending it back. That’s the only reason I didn’t keep it. Most of my shakes and smoothies require ice or better yet I personally prefer ice. Anyway, that was the only downside for me so minus 1star. ... show more

It's a good size for me. The blades are easy to clean. It's kind of weak though. It can't manage frozen strawberries in my smoothies and leaves big chunks.

It works better than I thought it would for being a cylindrical blender. Sometimes you have to lift and shake it to get it stuff on the top to blend. Works through frozen fruit well. The sport cap is very small. Maybe made for straws and I missed that. Overall 8.4/ 10

This blender was easy to use and clean, I thought it was the best deal I ever got. And then the motor froze when I was in the middle of my 14th shake. Don’t waste your money on this product! The only reason I am giving it a high ranking is so that people will see this.
