The sheets are soft and have a sheen to them that is reminiscent of polished cotton. They washed nicely and the top sheet remained with straight edges, not losing any length on one side, but not on the other. They did not seem to shrink after one washing and fit the queen bed perfectly. I read many reviews before I settled on these sheets. Looking first to replace the sheets I had with the same brand I had, I saw many complaints of sheets shredding, which is what had happened to mine, so I was off on the hunt for a different brand. I’m so glad I found these and that the price was reasonable.     • Really Nice/Don't slip
These are some really nice comfy cozy sheets. They are a nice thick sheet that has a noticeable feel of quality to them. It's almost like a warm hug once you get into bed and pull them up to nestle down into your little happy place. They fit our 13 inch thick king size mattress without a problem. They stay in place really really well without having to use those little corner garter belt thingies on the fitted sheet. No more bottom sheet shifting or bunching up. The top sheet seems to be a little wider than normal and has plenty of extra to hang over both sides of the mattress so we no longer have any more problems with someone stealing all the sheets (That would be me of course) and that makes my wife very happy. The pillow cases feel nice against your skin as you snuggle into bed and they have plenty of room to hold a true king size pillow. The pillow cases are generously proportioned so that the pillow just slides in well without a struggle but is not so loose that the pillow case is bunching up on you. The fit is perfect. We've had little to no problems with wrinkles but we dry on low heat with a cool down cycle to help prevent wrinkling and these are after all only sheets, not dress pants. Any residual wrinkling seems to smooth out pretty quickly once they are put on the bed. We were so impressed with the quality and feel of these sheets that we went ahead and ordered a second set. At first they do feel a little bit stiff due to the thickness and durability but with a couple of more washes I am certain they will start to soften up very nicely and last for years to come. I was pleasantly surprised at the excellent quality of these sheets. There is an extra seam at the point where the sheets tuck in to hold the sheet in place. I guess it's called a "pocket system". Sheet quality is very important to me. I only buy high thread count and this set is 1000 which is as high as any I have seen. And Egyptian cotton. Very good feel. Heavier than a lower quality, lower thread count sheet. Even luxury hotels would not normally have this good a sheet. It has a satin finish and I love the stripe pattern and color I picked out. I have not slept in them yet (in the washer to put on next) but I don't have any doubt they will be great. This quality is not the cheapest but the price for this quality was very good. You can spend a lot more at a department store (and only find at a premium store). I am almost excited to try them out. I've had enough experience sleeping with sheets that feel this good that I am positive I will love them. If I don't I'll post an update. That is highly unlikely but to be fair I will if needed. This is one thing I will splurge on since you used them every day. I feel that same about towels but the highest quality towels are even more pricey so I do compromise with towels some. Not sheets. And I have seen these at 50% higher for the same quality. They fit great. The fitted sheet fits a really thick mattress mattress like my 17" one. They claim 19" and from my examination that is right on. The pillow cases are the same quality. They are not sized for queen or king sized pillows if that is a concern.
