I tend to collect hair care products in hopes of finding “the one”. I have 2 other L’ange tools (dryer & a straightener) but ordered this straightener brush after seeing a demo of it online. Just put it to the test on my curly/frizzy air-dried, slept-on hair and within 5 minutes at 370 degrees my hair was straight as an arrow! Just unbelievably fast and easy. I’ve had a lot of different straighteners over the years and nothing compares to how effective and effortless this is.

This is amazing. I have long , thick frizzy hair. I can straighten my hair in minutes. I have bad hands so faster is better and it works effortlessly. No burns with this design. Highly recommend 10 out of 10.

I own several Lange products and love them. I bought this for my independent tween who wants to do her own hair. I wasn’t quite ready to let her have a flat iron so I thought this would be a good compromise. This is a great straightening comb but it will take several passes to get the hair straight. My daughter has VERY thick wavy hair with some parts being very curly. It’s important to note that with very thick or very curly hair, you need to create tension while using this to get the best results. Hold the hair section tight with one hand at the end and then start the straightening comb at the top and work down the section. We are still working on her being able to do this flawlessly by herself. She does most of it on her own but has problems with the back under parts of her hair which is also the curliest part of her hair.

This product is AMAZING! After having straight hair my whole life, it is now wavy right out of the shower, and so hard to straighten! This Hot Comb is safe, gentle, and IT WORKS FAST! Use a heat protectant and your hair comes out soft and manageable. L'ange products are a little more pricey, but so worth it! This particular item is a great deal, and worth every penny if you want your hair straightened fast. I am looking forward to using this for a long time! #ByeByeStraightener

I purchased this after buying the L'ange Le Vite Hot Brush. My hair grew back a completely different texture - porous, curly on top but not underneath and unruly after radiation and chemo for breast cancer. The front pieces in particular kink at the roots and frizz badly even after blow drying with a round brush. My flat iron seemed to make the look of those pieces worse. I liked the hot brush, but found it too large for the front of my front hair near the roots. it works great in back. This Smooth-It Classic Hot Comb, while difficult to change the settings on, is absolutely wonderful for those front pieces. It's thinner for one. Using it as instructed by combing hair from underneath leaves the front of my hair looking smooth, no kinks as closer to the root and allows me to curve my layers into a soft curved-in style. I use only on the lowest heat. It took less than 3 minutes to turn those unruly pieces into a much less frizzy, smooth style that doesn't highlight how porous those pieces are. Even though they don't stay that way when humid out , it's wonderful to see face framing soft layers now. I'm going to keep both L'ange products (unless the comb is defective and that's the issue with changing temperature and turning off). They both seem to be gentler on my hair and leave it looking much healthier than when using a flat iron. Also, I don't use the flat iron between washings as it leaves ridges and fried ends. The hot comb and brush are terrific in that they don't leave anything but styled hair from bedhead hair. I'm not sure how this would work on very thick strands, but this breast cancer survivor can highly recommend the comb to those with compromised, unruly, frizzed hair with cowlicks. The 4 stars is because of my issue with changing the temperature and having to unplug to turn it off - otherwise, it would be 4.5 stars Update: 2 months since purchase. Only used on low once a week for less than 5 minutes at a time. It won't turn on anymore! What a shock! It's stored in the box in a dry place. It's sadly passed the return date! Never fell or took any abuse.

Amazing product. Best thermal brush on my extremely thick, frizzy and wavy hair. Bristles glide through quick and easily, with no pulling. I ONLY use this product on 100% DRY HAIR. (I’ve purchased the L’ange heat protector for the best results, and I spray this on damp hair prior to any heat use!) Compared to my Chi straightener this thermal brush barely tugs and pulls at my hair. So much easier to straighten the roots and curly baby hairs under all my hair. It takes me about 25 minutes to straighten my hair with a Chi Iron. L’ange thermal brush has me finishing in 10 minutes, all done WITHOUT crazily parting my hair, in like 5 different sections?? My hair is left smooth, soft and shiny for the entire day! I also loveeee that i’m able to give the ends of my tips some volume by brushing outward. If you are looking for extremely flat/ no volume straight-style, please stick to a standard straightener! Volume girlies come to the front for this product! Amazon does carry this product at the cheapest price, compared to other retailers like Ulta.
