I have bought these over the last couple yrs & loved them. However, as I have lost weight & went down in size they get shorter! Ugh I’m roughly 5’7” & weigh 130. The small fits nicely. They are soft & flowy (not fitted) w/ beautiful colors. But like a lot of clothing, just b/c it’s a SMALLER SIZE DOESN'T MEAN IM SHORTER!! Or in great shape. 😑 I’m nearly 49 & prefer dresses 2-3” longer to look better. I know shorter women complain of length being too long but they can hem most dresses where I can’t add material to mine. The armholes seem even bigger now that I’m leaner but I just wear a nude bra or I think it could be tacked under the arm easily. I’d give it 10 stars if it was just long enough!!

As many reviewers reported, this definitely runs small. I'm a size medium and usually wear large for a loose and comfortable fit. Based on the reviews for this dress I ordered an XL and if it shrinks any it will be too tight. I expected this kind of dress to be worn loose and flowing. I recommend ordering 2 sizes up. It's a nice, lightweight coverup and dress. I like that it has lots of room under the arms with flattering sleeves. It's not like a lot of women's clothes that are so snug under the arm you're pulling on it constantly. For those worried about bra's showing, I recommend a cami or bathing suit underneath. IMHO a bra would only show if walking around with your hands above your head anyway. Buyer beware, it smells really bad out of the package... very strong chemical odor. I left it outside two days and am only attempting to wash it now because it's raining out. Without the sun oxidizing, it's not outgassing much and I didn't want it to get damaged by mud splashing up from the ground even though it was hanging under the eve of the house. It's beyond me why manufacturers don't wash these chems out before packaging items. It would make their items more sellable. For that reason and that reason only, I will not order more as I hoped I would be able to. It's not worth the time to clean while inhaling toxic chems that often cause health problems for some people. It arrived via ups in the flimsy plastic see through bag from the warehouse. It was not placed inside a proper box or shipping bag. I am washing it now and will provide an update in a few days. Hopefully it does not shrink and the chems wash out so it can be worn. UPDATE 1: After washing the first time there was still a strong chemical odor. It did not dissipate after it dried. On the plus side it did not shrink. I washed it in cold water and hung it to dry. It washed and dried beautifully. Drying time was fast. Then, I soaked the dress in full strength white vinegar overnight and washed it a second time with baking soda. It improved the smell somewhat and the dress is now hung up to dry inside. The smell still transfers to my hands when I handle it even after two washings. Sadly, it's too windy today to hang it out in the sun. I might end up having to bag the dress and wait for better weather to outgas it in the sun for a couple of weeks. I think that is the only thing that will save this dress. I want this dress to work because I love the style and rarely find clothes I like. I will provide another update after more steps are taken to remove the chemical odor. Suffice to say, cleaning it to make it usable is costing much more than the dress itself. Update 2: A few hours in the sun and a second washing in an oil-based soap reduced the chemical odor significantly. I think after a few days airing out it will be ready to wear.

Looks nice, but then you get it open and on and it is a cheap polyester blend that looks like a throw back to a cheap 70’s retro tunic. Would return it but entirely too much effort- so I will gift to Goodwill.
