I would give 5 stars except for one thing, the basket doesn’t sit low enough in the pot. You have to have a full teapot in order to use it or the water won’t cover the tea. And even then you’re better off using a metal bag on a string. Also this shattered into a million pieces when I bumped it against something hot. I kind of expected that but I literally means million pieces. I was picking up glass for weeks all over my kitchen..

The media could not be loaded. This was originally damaged on arrival. One of the teacups were broken when I unboxed it however this is the amazing replacement set in these photos. This set is gorgeous!!😱😍 It comes with 4 cups and the kettle. It is resistant to heat so far. I've tried on a gas stove where I was very nervous with it's delicacy over the flame but it's working great. I haven't tried in the microwave yet but it's supposed to work on both which is nice. The gas stove heats the water in minutes. Amazing quality. The seller shipped immediately after I reported the broken cup. I got the new one the next day and will return the broken one. Sooo convenient and so elegant and beautiful. I am so happy with this purchase. You will definitely love it. To the seller Kyraton: thank you so much for responding very quickly and with such an amazing product! I will certainly buy from you again. This is great for a gift or just to give your home that extra vibe.. I feel so boushy with this .. pinkies up 😂

It is nice, but it is thin like a lot of other reviews said. I'm too chicken to put it on the stove! But I like the look of it and keep on my kitchen table in a square tea serving tray made out of bamboo. I pour hot water into it to steep the tea. The glass cups are tiny for a TRUE "spot of tea!" The teapot it self, is a good size, and has a strainer insert of glass, which has slits around the bottom sides of the insert, does keep the elderberry particles out of the tea for the most part. I haven't tried loose leaf tea with it yet; just the elderberries and tea bags so far. I myself like it but it isn't for everyone I'm sure.

It is small, but I like to heat 1 mug at a time anyway. (it probably holds 2.5 mugs without boiling over) It heats fast and clean. The handle stays cool, so no problem picking it up when it's boiling. The only issue is if I don't keep a finger tip on the lid when pouring, it will fall out. But the ball on top of the lid stays cool to the touch. I really like this little tea pot.
