Frequently asked questions

The 2022 MacBook Air features Apple's M2 chip, which offers significant improvements in both CPU and GPU performance compared to its predecessor, the M1 chip. Users can expect faster processing speeds, smoother multitasking, and better efficiency for everyday tasks and professional applications. The M2 chip's 8-core CPU and up to 10-core GPU are designed to handle everything from simple browsing to demanding software with ease.

The 2022 MacBook Air's RAM and SSD are soldered onto the motherboard and are not user-upgradable after purchase. It's important to choose the configuration that suits your needs best at the time of purchase. The model in question comes with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, which suits most everyday users and professionals alike.

A 'Renewed' 2022 MacBook Air has been tested and certified to work and look like new by a qualified refurbisher or the manufacturer itself. It should perform equivalently to a new unit, though it might have minimal cosmetic imperfections. Renewed products come with a limited warranty; however, the length and coverage might differ from that of new Apple products. Always verify warranty details from the seller before purchasing.

The MacBook Air's 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display offers over 4 million pixels of resolution, resulting in vibrant colors and sharp text. It also supports P3 wide color for more vibrant greens and reds, and True Tone technology, which automatically adjusts the white balance to match the color temperature of the light around you for a more natural viewing experience. This makes it suitable for professional photo and video editing tasks, as well as general media consumption.

I have no complaints! 98% battery health, NO SCRATCHES, NO DENTS, literally looks and feels brand new. I’m impressed! It didn’t come with a magnetic charger but a charger was provided which I might have to change because the brick gets extremely hot while charging but besides that, everything works great thus far. ... show more

Fast, Lightweight MacBook That’s Great for Everyday Use
Color: Space Gray SSD Capacity: 256 GB RAM Memory Size: 8 GB
I’ve been using the 2022 MacBook Air with the M2 chip, and it’s been a really nice laptop for everyday tasks. The 13-inch size makes it easy to carry around, while still giving you enough screen space for schoolwork, browsing, documents, and watching videos. The M2 chip is definitely one of the highlights. Everything feels responsive when switching between apps, browsing the web, or working on documents. For normal everyday use, it has more than enough performance, and I like that the laptop doesn't feel bulky when carrying it around. The 256GB SSD provides decent storage for basic files, schoolwork, photos, and applications. However, if you regularly keep a lot of large videos, games, or other big files on your computer, the storage may fill up faster. The 8GB of RAM is also fine for everyday tasks, but people who do heavier multitasking or demanding creative work may want a higher-memory configuration. The Space Gray finish looks sleek and professional, and the overall design is one of my favorite things about the MacBook Air. It's thin, lightweight, and easy to slip into a backpack. Since this is a renewed MacBook, I would recommend checking the seller's description carefully, especially the battery condition, physical condition, included accessories, and warranty. The condition of renewed devices can vary. Overall, the 2022 MacBook Air with the M2 chip is a great everyday laptop. It's lightweight, fast, easy to carry, and works well for schoolwork, browsing, streaming, and general productivity. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage are best suited for lighter everyday use, but the M2 performance makes this a solid option for someone who wants a capable and portable MacBook. ... show more

One scratch on the entire thing and it’s on the mouse pad and I purchased refurbished good so that’s pretty nice. Completely functional key pad despite the scratch, keyboard works 100%. The battery life is amazing. Came with original charger but non original packaging. Great laptop for the price. I was expecting more to be wrong with it! The sound works amazing. I’ve downloaded sims 4 with 6 add ons and added 4+ streaming services to my doc plus what was already on my iCloud and it runs very quick still. I just had to update the software and restart and the camera had no problem working. It charges just fine also no connection issues with WiFi , Bluetooth , etc. It’s decently heavy and doesn’t seem easily damaged. I thought it was gonna come small but I got the 13 inch and it’s perfect ! Touch ID Also worked perfect. ... show more

I love the one I got! Came fast too. The few complaints I have is that the trackpad is pretty sensitive and it’ll tap something without me really pushing down and that they left it out in the open when I gave them a note on where to leave it <\3 But I gen love ts so much, decently up to date for $500 ... show more

Does Not Come With MagSafe Cable
Color: Midnight SSD Capacity: 256 GB RAM Memory Size: 8 GB

Does not come with MagSafe charger despite one of the product's main photos being a "What's included in the box", where you can clearly see it says it includes the MagSafe charger. I bought this laptop in order to use for music production, and I opted for the M2 version over the M1 despite performance being almost identical simply because I wanted the extra USB-C slot so I can use it to plug in my audio interface and midi controller at the same time as charging the computer. On the M1 model MacBook air there is only 2 USB-C slots and one of those is occupied by the charger if the computer is plugged into power. The M2 remedied this by including the MagSafe cable. This way you can still charge your device while having both USB-C slots occupied. I contacted the seller seeing if they would just ship me a MagSafe cable since I just spent over $700 for a computer that was labeled (Excellent Condition). I would have expected that they would have at least replaced the missing items with 3rd party ones, but instead they cut corners and argued that the simple USB-C to USB-C cable they included was the same thing, despite it clearly starting that the computer originally comes with a MagSafe cable instead. A MagSafe cable only costs about $20, but it really should have been included. Also, the wall adapter included was not the original. the one provided says it's 65watts but this is doubtful considering its smaller than my 30Watt Apple Charger (Included a picture of the one they gave me next to my Apple 30Watt wall adapter). but I could overlook that and be happy if I just had the MagSafe cable. If they decided to honor their promise to provide replacements for the items missing then I'll change this review to 5 stars. But I just can't give anything higher than 1 when I didn't receive everything included on the product page. ... show more
