Perfect tea set
Size: 40-Ounce Color: Black Gift Set
The original purchase of the tea set did not go as planned. I believe the first set that I received was a defective set as it clearly states in the description that the set is dishwasher safe (which the new set I have is perfectly fine) During washing the cups/pot the day after I received the item in the mail, one of the cups broke in the dishwasher...which resulted in a horrible mess. None of the cups seemed to have any cracks etc before placing them in my dishwasher, so I am not sure at all how one of the cups broke. I contacted Amazon and got a replacement for the tea set and the second set is perfect! I can put it through the dishwasher with no issue what so ever. Also to note...this is not a STOVETOP friendly tea set, it is more of an infuser that you pour hot water into. Do not under any circumstances put this over a fire, or on a stove top as the plastic will melt. Overall I love the set it looks amazing and it fits my needs perfectly. It is great for tea bags, loose leaf tea, or tea flowers. I also use mine for coffee and it works out great! (use a filter if you make coffee) ... show more

Simply good
Size: 40-Ounce Color: Black Gift Set
There is a screw for the piece that fastens the bowl to the handle/frame and it's the only thing about this pot that I don't like because you have to remove it when you wash if you don't want water stains on the under side of the bowl. I've had it for 2 weeks and have had boiling water in it daily. Meaning daily washing and I've noticed no cracks or anything yet. The way the top disassembles actually makes cleaning nice for people with dinner platter hands (me). The blooming tea that comes with it is nice and makes it more of a "giftable" item. The price and the cups complete the set, so all in all it's been a great purchase. I've gotten a few compliments on it's looks already too so thats an added bonus. ... show more

Got my tea set today, but no mesh tea strainer. Update!
Size: 40-Ounce Color: Black Gift Set
I like this tea set, I bought it to replace a previous set that I had, but am noticing some differences, some good, some not. This new set arrived without the steel mesh strainer basket, which is supposed to be included. The cups in this new set are larger, so Yay! The screw fixing the pot handle to the teapot is exposed, my old set was covered, and the base of the teapot is exposed, where my old set had the bottom covered by the black plastic base. All in all, not that big of a deal, it's still 100% usable but the missing mesh tea basket really bugs me. I've reached out to the company to see if they can send me one, but have not heard anything back from them yet. I will update my review to 5 stars if they can send me one. Here's hoping... Update: after contacting the company, they sent me the missing mesh tea strainer! Yay!!! Thanks guys!!! ... show more

Cheap but modern.
Size: 40-Ounce Color: Black Gift Set
Over all this is a nice tea set. The plastic on it is pretty cheap, hard plastic which I kinda thought it would be better quality but for the price.... I guess you get what you pay for. It’s a nice little modern tea set. All the pieces came intact. The flowering tea that came with it was a nice touch, but not something I’ll buy more of. I find it looks kinda gross in the water, but smells very good. Not a huge fan of peach tea but I appreciate it anyway ... show more

Didn't realize it was plastic & glass, but honestly makes no difference

When I ordered this I didn't realize the black was plastic. Once it arrived I was extremely disappointed, why was my tea pot plastic? Well, I've had it awhile and tbh it makes no difference!!!! The plastic holds heat but doesn't conduct it! I can brew my tea, one full pot boiling water to warm the pot, then another pot of boiling water over the loose tea leaves to brew the tea, and it stays warm the entire time it takes me to drink a pot! I can pick up the mugs and pot without burning my hands, and cleaning is a dream. I don't dare risk the dishwasher with it, so hot soapy water and a soft sponge it is. It doesn't retain the flavor of past teas brewed which I like, I can switch up my flavors without contamination! The cups kinda remind me of the ones from ST:TNG which was why I bought it. I haven't tried the tea flowers that came with it, I've honestly been drinking my Harney and Sons Earl Grey and English Breakfast tea instead. The pot sits perfectly on the trivet on my desk, it's small enough that it's not in the way of if I'm working on my diamond art or playing SWTOR. In all, despite my initial disappointment with the product I am extremely happy with how it actually works while in use. ... show more

Beautiful Pot!
Size: 40-Ounce Color: Black Gift Set
This pot is as described in the ad. It's quite pretty and holds a nice amount of water. The wider mouth means it's easy to clean. The handle is wide and easy to hold. Couple of notes: *The glass pot moves in its plastic form. Which surprised me, but I actually found it useful. *It's glass, fragile glass. It comes with an insert warning not to bump the pot as it's fragile. Overall, love this pot. ... show more

Ok cups amazing teapot
Size: 40-Ounce Color: Black Gift Set
Love the teapot(should be mentioned you have to heat up the water in another container then pour it into it) it's huge and very cute. The cups on the other hand aren't so great or at least the one I took out of the wrap wasn't. Made a pot of tea poured it into the cup noticed there was a bit of loose leaves floating around which I didn't care for so I dumped the tea back into the pot so I could strain it when I repour it and the cup fell out of the silicone holder or whatever it is and nearly crashed to the tile floor where it would have met an unfortunate end I'm sure. Reread through the product description thinking maybe it was a "feature" for easier washing and I just overlooked it. Couldn't find anywhere on the page where they were supposed to be able to come apart so I'm sending it back because i do not need the stress of something similar happening to the teapot or something while I'm pouring hot tea. Can you imagine!? ... show more
