Very sweet little tea pot, and great for the blooming balls of tea. I use it for my other bulk tea too. Very nice to be able to see the color of the tea as it is steeping. Makes for a perfect cuppa.

I drink tea on a regular basis, and the journey to find the perfect glass teapot has been quite interesting. I've tried couple of different teapots, and I believe that I've found a good one. The glass on this particular teapot is little bit on the thinner side and thus, does not hold heat for long, but then again, you're not suppose to brew tea for a long time. I've brewed black, green and herbal teas and when kept up with the recommended brew time for each type, the temperature has been perfect. Sometimes very small bits and pieces of tea leaves does get through the infuser slivers, but I'm fine with it. I received this yesterday. Quick, flawless shipping! My entire family loves herbal teas, and we grow many of our own herbs. I needed a better way to use loose leaf herbs without a bag or sieve. This is it!!! We brewed our first pot last night. Complete success! It has way more pros than cons! First, it's just absolutely lovely! It's dainty, elegant and aesthetically pleasing, yet very strong, tough, and durable! I prefer to boil the water in it, and it did a fine job. Very little of my dried herbs came through the tiny infuser slits. Not even enough to be bothered by, so that's a huge plus for me. The infuser goes almost to the bottom, so herbs will always be in the water, no matter how little water you use. The infuser is also large enough to pack a lot of herbs in! I like my tea strong, stout, and brimming with flavor. Everything fit with room to spare. Whether you like it mild or strong, this kettle works! It was super easy to clean, and would make the perfect gift for tea drinkers. There were only two things I personally did not like about it. Here's "my" cons... the beautiful spout pours flawlessly, yet the base of it is attached quite low. I would benefit from a higher spout. The more water you add, the further up the spout it travels. This is not an issue if you are pouring in boiled water to steep, but is if you plan to boil the water in it. To remedy that, we boiled half a pot and steeped it strong (pictured). Then added hot water to top off the kettle before pouring it into individual cups. All in all, it's not a huge issue and can easily be worked around. The only other issue (again, for me) is the size. It holds 4-5 cups. That is probably perfect for most. My husband and I have 5 children. It's not quite big enough for all 7 of us. Throw in a visit from my parents, and it's definitely too small. Most evenings, however, it's just my husband, myself, and our 3 youngest daughters. For that, a full pot is perfect. So again, not the biggest con in the world! Most do not have a huge family that loves multiple cups every evening. We're a little different. ALL IN ALL, I'm still amazed by just how much I love this beautiful pot!!! All I need now is a dainty, yet durable teacup set to compliment it. I will update this review as time goes on. We drink tea daily, so I should quickly discover just how durable it is. Do not let "my review" sway you from this glorious purchase! You will love it! If you enjoy hot herbal teas, you will definitely enjoy this well-made teapot! Diffuser is broken so had to order from a different store. Otherwise it’s a nice teapot and perfect for an afternoon tea.

Boy, was I nervous about how delicate this teapot seemed when I unpackaged it, and wow, was I wrong. It's more sturdy than you'd think. With mindful handling, this teapot is now the one I use almost daily. I heat it on the stove and everything, and I couldn't be happier. The spout impressed me with zero drips or dribbles and a perfectly clean pour. As with most hand-blown glassware, the lid sometimes rattles in its place, but that doesn't bother me as it might others. The slits in the built-in steeper sometimes lets smaller tea leaves through, but I enjoy seeing some at the bottom of my cup. If you like a clean cup of tea, use a different steeper. It's fairly easy to clean this teapot as long as you have a pipe cleaner for the spout. ... show more

    • Beautiful but smaller than I thought
I'm so excited to try this out! It's really cute it is alot smaller than I thought. Box was super light didn't know for sure if it was the correct thing till I opened the box. Well packaged will post a picture soon
