With 300 watts of peak power and increased versatility thanks to an integrated USB charging port, the Kuryakyn 2719 Road Thunder Sound Bar Plus takes handlebar-mounted audio to a new level. An internal 4-channel amp powers two 2" x 3" full-range speakers with dual voice coils and four high-frequency 1" silk dome tweeters with N42 grade magnets for powerful distortion-free sound at any volume level. Amplifier 4 x 19WRMS, max 4 x 23W. Durable IP66-rated housing is weather-resistant. Built-in heat sink and self-protection circuit combat excessive heat and over/under voltage regulation. An internal 3.0 Bluetooth receiver allows wireless connectivity to any Bluetooth-enabled smartphone or music device. Auxiliary input and output ports connect standard devices via 3.5 mm cable. Integrated water-resistant 1.0 Amp USB charging port in end cap. Includes power, ground and ignition wire for easy disconnect. I had researched a lot before settling on this Kuryakyn Road Thunder Soundbar for my 2015 Harley Davidson Road King. The installation was pretty straightforward aided through the help of YouTube videos. The instructions the speaker came with were not very helpful due to the lack of diagrams. I am extremely pleased with the sound from this speaker! It’s very clear and loud. Having a windshield helps but riding at any speed up to 70 and I experience plenty of clear music for me and my passenger. This is just what I expected and what I wanted for Harley! ... show more

    • Decent sound for the price - poor quality hardware
For $299 you get what you pay for - the quality of the speaker/technology is good. At slow speeds it’s extremely loud, at highway speeds I have it turned up completely, and it could be louder. But for the price, the sound, and technology, like I said are decent. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because the handlebar clamps and hardware. As mentioned in other reviews the metals are soft, and in my case didn’t line up perfectly. Aside from that, the sound bar is probably as good as it’s gonna get for the price, and bypassing needing to install an amplifier, separate from speakers. ... show more

Opening box revealed hefty unit for its size. Very straight forward easy install. Had BOSS 4-speaker on previous bike. This has better sound with equal or better volume.     • Cheap hardware, and didn't work
I had high hopes, received it today upon install I seen one of the mount hold was stripped and would not accept the very very cheap china screw, the brackets seem very nice the speaker housing itself feels really nice but the hardware is the cheapest of the cheap very soft Allen head screws. Took some time to I stall on my Harley connected to my Bluetooth and nothing I hear some fait white noise from the speakers and that's it. All that time wasted for something that's msrp over $400 I would expect some better hardware and quality control. But that's what happens when companies outsource to different countries specially china you get terrible quality. I wouldn't not recommend which is sad because it looks nice if only it had worked and the craftsmanship was up to par with the price of the speaker. ... show more

I have had this Bluetooth speaker installed on my bike for 2 months and it works perfectly with a iPhone 13. The music is loud enough for all of my riding, even when I am on the interstate doing 70 mph. All controls are on the unit so I can have my phone in the saddle bag, and will work after you shut off the bike and restart without touching the phone its self. ... show more
