An internal 4-channel amp powers two 2" x 3" full-range speakers with dual voice coils and four high-frequency 1" silk dome tweeters with N42 grade magnets for powerful distortion-free sound at any volume level. Amplifier 4 x 19WRMS, max 4 x 23W. Durable IP66-rated housing is weather-resistant. Built-in heat sink and self-protection circuit combat excessive heat and over/under voltage regulation. An internal 3.0 Bluetooth receiver allows wireless connectivity to any Bluetooth-enabled smartphone or music device. Auxiliary input and output ports connect standard devices via 3.5 mm cable. Integrated water-resistant 1.0 Amp USB charging port in end cap. Includes power, ground and ignition wire for easy disconnect. I had researched a lot before settling on this Kuryakyn Road Thunder Soundbar for my 2015 Harley Davidson Road King. The installation was pretty straightforward aided through the help of YouTube videos. The instructions the speaker came with were not very helpful due to the lack of diagrams. I am extremely pleased with the sound from this speaker! It’s very clear and loud. Having a windshield helps but riding at any speed up to 70 and I experience plenty of clear music for me and my passenger. This is just what I expected and what I wanted for Harley! ... show more

The speaker looks and sounds great even at 70mph. Only thing I didn’t like was that they suggested taping into a wire. I bought a $15 fuse adapter and ran it from my fuse box. I think that’s much easier.

Installation instructions could be better with wiring. I didn’t tap the right one on the first try. Sometimes sound cuts out like a 90’s discman getting jostled. Plenty loud enough even at highway speeds

    • This is what was missing!
So if you are considering it buy it! I have a BMW S1000XR with a small windscreen and I can hear it up to 100mph. Its a glorified bluetooth speaker so dont expect the world but def worth the dough. Easy install straight to battery and a hot wire.

Super easy install. May have taken an hour after routing and zip tying wires and seat off and on. I ran it with red and orange wire to +battery and black to -battery. I have to remember to turn it off. It is mounted on a 2017 Heritage. I can still get to my windshield bag. Small but loud. Can hear at 80+ with python exhaust. Not a quiet bike. Well worth the extra expense from the lower priced ones. Had old harley setup on it and this is way more with easier controls. ... show more

The speaker itself worked great and sound was amazing but it only lasted a month. Claims to be weather resistant but clearly wasn't. Rode through a small rain fall and the speaker fried. Doesn't work at all anymore. And customer service through all parties have not been of any help at all. Been waiting over 6 months for a replacement and customer service has stopped responding as well. ... show more
