The parts came in a tough outer wooden frame and lots of wrapping to protect the pieces. Even then, some roof tiles and the roof top beam got a bit scratched and bent during shipping. They were still salvageable and it didn't seem worth sending it back. I'm giving 5 stars for the value I feel I got for the money, despite minor damage in transit. The instructions say this requires 2-4 people. I did it by myself (took me about 3hrs) but would not recommend it. Would've been handy to have someone else hold the other sides while connecting the frame pieces. I leaned two against the house and steadied the rest while putting in bolts. To connect the roof beams, I used the plastic wrap the beams came in - tied one end of the beam to the cross roof beam, then got on the ladder to attach the other side. Once one side was in, I could undo the plastic tie and attach that side. Overall the instructions were clear and easy to follow, every piece marked. One word of warning to avoid having to redo anything - look *very* carefully at the diagrams at every step to make sure you have things oriented correctly. The instructions don't always call things out but studying the diagrams longer than you think you need to will eventually make you go "ahhh". If you don't already have one, get a set of allen wrench drill bits for your powerdrill to save time over using the allen wrench they supplied with the kit. The instructions tell you to put the plastic caps on the nuts as you go. I decided to wait til the end and I'm glad I did because I needed to go around and tighten some of the bolts a bit more after everything was plumb and stable. Overall, I'm happy and think most people will be.

few dents and scratches but not noticeable since its the roof part, thank goodness, hopefully for the next buyer, seller pls tell carrier to handle with care, package beat up on corners, but overall satisfied, thank you.

Arrived well packaged and was easy to assemble. It's not extremely heavy so it's easy to move into place, but it seems sturdy. I'm using it on my deck as a sunshade for a glider and the side shelves are handy for "side tables." I'm deducting one star because, although the packaging was not damaged, the paint was damaged in one small area.

Overall, we are happy with what we received and for the price. We did shop around and this seemed like the best buy. So, it came in 6 boxes and the parts were not in order of construction; however, most of the boxes were labeled with what parts were in each box. We finally found the instructions in the last box. We separated all the parts per each step, and were happy to find all parts were accounted for. It took us 7 hours with 4 people continuously working on it and 3 more people helping intermittently. Directions were good, got tripped up a couple of times, but easily corrected. The mosquito net is nice , but we have used the solid curtain the most to keep out rain. That said, the roof has not leaked either and it has weathered several storms already. It is a nice shaded area to under while the sun bathers are on the deck. We use a large belt driven fan to produce wind if nature is not providing. We are pleased with this product and use it often. We were very happy that we purchased the 10x16 size, and have used every inch of the covered space. Fingers crossed that it endures winter and will continue to provide several years of coverage.

We looked at a lot of gazebos and checked a lot of reviews. Almost all of them from Amazon and other places said that parts came damaged and it was hard to put together. We decided to go with this purchase from Amazon and we are very happy with it. It came in five or six very well packaged heavy boxes. Most other reviews we checked, said pieces were damaged and we only had one corner of one roof panel that we had to bend out a corner of it. It took two whole Saturdays and three adults to complete it. A couple of times we had four adults to move it into place. One adult on each post. The instructions weren’t over detailed but they were not impossible to figure out if you follow the pictures. We are very happy with it. It’s very sturdy. This is meant to be a permanent structure. It’s too heavy to move around.

The media could not be loaded. My husband and I assembled in a single day. First we unpacked each box and checked inventory with book. Checked off each item after counting and confirming it was in box. No missing or damaged items. I wrote in the book and listed where on the patio each box was at. (Right side by hot tub, by grill etc) it made it easier to find what you need. Keep the materials near box. I used the book for each step. I would prep next step for my husband. For the most part, he could do it all. I held posts and the middle section. Easy to assemble and not heavy for any step Looks great Great value for money

The unit came in with several damaged pieces. Since I was having an event in my yard I had no choice but to assemble it as is. The manufacturer, although responsive, could offer no real solution. They told me it would take weeks to ship the new part and offered me $20 to cover my inconvenience. Amazon customer service was no better. They told me if I had an issue and couldn't resolve it with the manufacturer to ship all 5 boxes back. They also screwed me, along with UPS, on the delivery. All in all it looks ok and was no challenge to build. I did learn my lesson not to order large items from Amazon because they offer little if no support if you have an issue.
