This little gazebo is an incredible find and a great value. It was one of the less-expensive options available to make a covered area for our Weber grill. I chose it because it had a hard metal roof with a good slope and a classic style. The kit exceeded expectations beyond expectation! First off, the packaging was like nothing previously encountered. Inside the heavy cardboard box was a wooden crate in which each component was wrapped individually and clearly labeled with stickers. The hardware was actually organized in a tray - amazing! The directions were very easy to follow. It took the two of us less than a day to put the gazebo together with hardly a hitch. We are better than average DIY-ers, but anyone who has ever assembled just about anything should have no trouble. You do need at least two people. Using clamps is helpful. We are so pleased with the finished product. It looks fantastic and is a great addition to our outdoor space. Also, customer service is very good. Despite the over-the-top packaging, one of the shelves had a very small dent with a tiny crack, which could rust over time. I sent a message to the seller, with requested pictures, etc. Before we knew it, there was a new shelf delivered to our door! ... show more

Well worth the money! I love this BBQ Gazebo...for both shade and rain. It did take 2 people to put together and devote a day to it as there are many parts and pieces but it went together fairly easily. Be careful to make sure your screw holes are on the same side as the pictures...we only had 1 time the braces were upside down. The instructions aren't the best with basically just pictures, but you need to follow them. Now that it's constructed, I love it. I have added a curtain to the sunny side but it's exactly what we were searching for especially with the side shelves. ... show more

    • Great product, decent price, assembly time consuming but not difficult.
Overall, we are happy with what we received and for the price. We did shop around and this seemed like the best buy. So, it came in 6 boxes and the parts were not in order of construction; however, most of the boxes were labeled with what parts were in each box. We finally found the instructions in the last box. We separated all the parts per each step, and were happy to find all parts were accounted for. It took us 7 hours with 4 people continuously working on it and 3 more people helping intermittently. Directions were good, got tripped up a couple of times, but easily corrected. The mosquito net is nice , but we have used the solid curtain the most to keep out rain. That said, the roof has not leaked either and it has weathered several storms already. It is a nice shaded area to under while the sun bathers are on the deck. We use a large belt driven fan to produce wind if nature is not providing. We are pleased with this product and use it often. We were very happy that we purchased the 10x16 size, and have used every inch of the covered space. I was actually gonna send this item back because all of the parts. Also it had a few scuffs. But I kept it. Feels sturdy, a bit difficult to put together. You definitely need at least 2 people. It took my brother 2 days. We haven’t gotten the curtains up yet so I don’t have final picture.

I bought two of these initially for my existing deck. Loved them so much that I bought a third and am extending my deck! Excellent quality construction compared to the Menards one they replaced. We’re sitting outside under it as I write this and it’s pouring rain.

My husband and I assembled in a single day. First we unpacked each box and checked inventory with book. Checked off each item after counting and confirming it was in box. No missing or damaged items. I wrote in the book and listed where on the patio each box was at. (Right side by hot tub, by grill etc) it made it easier to find what you need. Keep the materials near box. I used the book for each step. I would prep next step for my husband. For the most part, he could do it all. I held posts and the middle section. Why did you pick this product vs others?: The gazebo itself is good - arrived with minor damage in shipping so make sure you take pictures BEFORE you open anything. The bigger issue is that the cloth blinds immediately started fading, and within 3 weeks there were noticeable area that had significantly faded. When I contacted Amazon, they told me that since it was more than 30 day. the only think that they could do was to ship an entirely new one to me (all 700+lbs and 6 boxes), have me swap the material from the new one, and then ship it all back. THATS INSANE. The material would be the exact same material as was fading now, so there would be no benefit.
