I wish I could say that the suit worked well for my pup, however, she was totally resistant to getting it on. The suit had the covering over the legs which would have protected my dog's incision on her side. Being a dachshund mix and having short legs, however, the leg length wasn't quite right. I should have realized this, but I could have easily cut the legs shorter. She just wasn't having it and rather than stress her further with trying to adjust it, I abandoned the idea of a recovery suit. I think the suit would work well for a dog less nervous than my pup. It's soft and stretchy and is secured by a Velcro-like closure on the back.

We had our 1 year old Belgian spayed, and got this so she did not have to wear a cone 24/7. She had it on less than 24 hours before the stitching started coming out. It has multiple holes in less than 24 hours, and she has just laid around the house with it on. We ordered the size based on measurements, and the length is correct but it hangs off her. It is so big we had to roll the legs up, so the stitching is not stressed! It is very poorly made, but super cute. I am going to reinforce the stitch lines, so it is useable for the next 10 days we need it. Would not order again.

I find it fairly easy to put on my dog who just had her 2nd TPLO surgery. I wish that I would have bought it for her 1st. It's a thin ish stretchy fabric, good for FL. It's already hot! So much more functional than any cone, I did buy an inflatable which she could get off when it bugged her enough. If the legs are a little long, I just folded it up. No problem pooping/peeing with it on either. She seems so much more at ease, has not tried to remove it but, she's a pretty good girl! FYI, Aussie, 51 pounds, 20 inches at the withers. Sorry, it won't let me upload photos.

I REALLY wish this came in the XXL and larger sizes and fit as indicated, because it is actually well made, perfect fit for purpose (double knee surgery recovery suit), with a nice (and for once long) potty hole cutout for male dogs, so they do not accidentally pee themselves if the hole is too small. I bought the largest size (XXL) for my Labrador retriever, and it is about 5 inches too short! The girth and the legs/sleeves are fine, but it barely went up to the length of his stomach and could not get the legs in and the from arms through the holes. There is no way the largest size fits the very much larger dog in the picture. I measured my dog, and I double checked the label tag for size, and it’s says XXL, but does not actually fit the length of a medium dog, let along a large one. If the seller does make these bigger. Would buy several in a heart beat for my two dogs who have both had knee surgeries and multiple other injuries. We have tried just about every dog recovery suit there is on Amazon, and it is really hard to find exactly what you need, in the right size, and for the most common large dog in America (Labrador retriever), to not fit lengthwise is a real miss. Perhaps it had the wrong size label tag sewn into the inside? I do not know, but it am disappointed.

Life saver after CCL repair surgery. Size XL fit our 55 lb medium sized dog perfectly. There is a male cutout. No need to remove for eliminating. ;) We wrapped self adhesive tape at the ankles so the legs did not trip him up.
