It does exactly what you expect it to. I was worried it would be too small to fit 4 pairs in each drawer but it fits 4 men’s and maybe 6 women’s depending. I can slide some flip flops on top of each other in the middle of the bigger pairs to get 6 in each. Assembly wasn’t too bad but you need 2 people in order to hold the drawer in while someone else screws it in place.

Had some difficulties assembling the one I got. Of the 4 predrilled holes for the plastic parts, only one was easy to insert. The other 3 were too small and I had to use force to smash it in with a hammer which caused some damages to the surrounding areas. Good thing this faces the back and no one can see it. The rest of the process was easy. Moving the assembled item to its place was a bit unstable. Felt like the piece was going to break apart. Instructions are kind of like Ikea's in that there's no written words, just drawings and poorly done. Not worth $130. Would not recommend for this price point or even $100. **Updated 3/27/23: Updating from 2 stars to 4 stars. Seller reached out in response to original review. Discussed difficulties with the assembly. They were very understanding and adjusted the price to one that I was comfortable with. Great customer service and very rare that sellers reach out so this was very much appreciated. The cabinet is able to stand alone without needing to be mounted to the wall (no small children in the home). So far the cabinet is holding up nicely and well balanced. Easy to open and close. Able to store 12 shoes: sandals, low and high top canvas sneakers. I live in a small apartment and the slim cabinet fits perfectly in my small, narrow hallway.

I read reviews before purchasing this, and the assembly is more difficult than it’s chalked up to be. You will need a hammer and screw driver. This can easily take you over an hour to assemble. You will likely need someone to help hold the drawers while you install, or improvise like I did alone with something at the level/height of where you will need to screw. I struggled. The back pieces you need to screw are tricky. I was so unsure of my placement for this part because the images are tiny and there are no additional directions. The directions are just visual and it is easy to make mistakes if you’re not paying super close attention as there are no words. There are tacks you need to hammer in the bottom and they were tricky to center on the bottom of the pieces. Some of the holes to screw seem a bit off, and that resulted in the drawers looking uneven when the organizer is closed. This is the part of this item that really bugs me because it looks cheap with the gapping if you look close enough. You can see in the pictures. Overall, this serves it’s purpose for me, but if you are one to get frustrated with assembly, just prepare yourself. It’s not the worst, but not the easiest… and I consider myself a patient person in general. I was able to fit 9 pairs of sneakers and 3 sandals. I had to mess with the best fit for what I needed in this organizer. I wear a size 7 to give an idea of what fits. I did use the dividers to maximize the organization and storage.

The box the item came in was thin cardboard, the package was ripped up causing the furniture to be damange. It will work for what I need it for, was not worth the 130$ I payed.

This is a cute little cabinet. It wasn’t difficult to put together. I did it myself with just a hammer and a screwdriver and it took me like 2 hrs with many breaks in between, and I’m not even close to be an expert on putting together anything. The space for shoes isn’t the great. Probably 8 shoes and they are kinda tight. My husbands wears a size 10.5 and I doubt you can go any bigger than that. The finish is ok. Looks like a cheap furniture that you put together in your living room in 2 hrs. I’m overall, it looks exactly like the pics.

I spent a few days thinking I was missing a part because the instruction manual listed a part that was not included in the baggie of screws and such. I emailed Kumiunion twice and got no reply. Then I checked the boards, and the missing pieces were already embedded (3rd pic). For reference, those are pieces #4 in the instructions. With that, I started assembly. It took 2+ hrs. :C The cabinet part was easy, but the shoe rack shelves were difficult. The screws would not go in without a lot of force. So relieved when I was finally done. The pieces had some minor dings, and the shelves are slightly off center, but overall the shoe rack looks as pictured and works well. I can fit 5–6 pairs of shoes in each rack shelf. I just really did not enjoy the assembly, and the instruction manual needs to be updated if the #4 pieces are pre-inserted.
