Im exhaustingly pregnant and found this super easy to put together. Less than 30 minutes. The instructions look confusing but if you read the key and apply your brain cells its easy to figure out. I could put it together without the instructions honestly. There is a warning that the poles may be sharp. Some were sharp but not enough to cut me. After assembly, i noticed it was a little crooked on some shelves, as if the poles werent sitting straight and i had my husband ensure everything was tighten properly. The shelf becomes more stable as you build it and of course with weight, it does not wobble, the shelves dont tear easily, it looks great and has held up well. They provided like 14 or so hooks which is a bit much but better to have more than not enough. It comfortably stores boots, high tops, work boots, everything. 20 pairs or so can fit. I wear womens size 8, husband wears size 12. Both sizes do not protrude out and fit well in the shelves. I do wish it came with a wall hook/mount for better security but with the weight of shoes i dont think it’s necessary. Its pretty strong but lightweight. ... show more

Easily assembled and seems sturdy enough. It is cheaply made so you don't want to get too crazy with it; the poles are very light weight and could dent easily and a piece of the bottom shelving paper came partially perforated down the middle with a small slit so I didn't use it. One of the poles also came a little more squared at one end instead of round to it took a little patience to get it to fit into the hole on the connector piece. Took a while to assemble, and, living in an apt, I don't have many big tools, which includes soft mallets, but I recommend having one because the wooden hammy it comes with really isn't enough. I had to modify it with duct tape and electrical tape for it to work wellenough to assemble the whole thing. Pros: - Simple to piece together - Lightweight - Fit a fair amount of shoes on it (for reference, I wear 10-11 US women's shoes, do if you have smaller feet, you could probably fit more) Cons: - The plastic cracked a few times in the slots where you put the 4 metal poles into on each level - A few of the metal poles came dented due to how pliable the metal is (I didn't care as much since just shoes are going on it anyways) - Not super sturdy, but you can also secure it to a wall just like anything else - Looks slightly warped once finished building, as if each level on the left side is just slightly out of place Overall, it does its job and is a lot better than other cheap shoe stands I've gotten that can't really fit my size of shoe on them without sticking out an extra 4 inches. Those ones previously broke because of my cats, so we'll see how this one holds up to them. Also, if you're chill with your hats touching your shoes, it can be a convenient hat hanger area with the hooks on the side. ... show more

I had to say my expectations were low given the price but what an amazing little rack! Putting it together I was like oh no wha did I do looking at all the pieces but once I figured it out, took about 10 mins and most of that was deciding the height I wanted for each shelf. Satisfied overall. There are a lot of pieces and instructions are not the greatest but all you really need to do is build 3 different pieces and then it’s just rinse and repeat until you get to the top.
