Easy to put together. Item is heavy and sturdy! Make sure you put it together where you want it, otherwise it will be a big project to move. Especially since the top "shelf" (the piece that covers the top) comes off VERY easily. It should be glued down to ensure it won't come off. This rotating rack is for my daughter to store her shoes. I like this vertical design much better than horizontal shelves rack as this takes so little floor space but can hold 24 pairs of shoes and you can also sort them according to color or style. This is a very well constructed rack and all the pieces have weight to it. At first it looked like a tricky assembly but it was not and it took me just about 30 minutes to get it set up. All the pieces are well locked in place and the whole shelf rotates smoothly. This holds her shoes and other footwear nicely and a few bulkier boots she can put on the top. The height of each compartment works well for flip flips, sandals and sneakers. This rack can also be used to store and display books and decoration pieces. It will be a nice piece in study with all the books and photo albums. I can imagine how well this can organize spices and other pantry items as well. It's a versatile design that can be put to different uses but for now this serves as a shoe rack for my daughter and she loves that all her shoes are visible and easy to grab. ... show more

Be ready to invest time and elbow grease. I assembled this piece alone. One person assembly is doable but I highly recommend an assistant, if available. Once this piece comes together it’s so functionally and stylish. It’s a little bulky so be sure you have enough space to accommodate it. The instructions got complicated and confusing (I had to rework the round pieces; due to, the instructions wasn’t clear on which side to adhere the sectional pieces on). The shelf arrived in a neatly packed box. Each shelf needs to be assembled. The instructions were very clear. It’s mostly repetitive steps to assemble. Once a layer is assembled, it goes on quickly. All parts required were neatly labeled and included. Once assembled you would see how big it is. The depth is great to display anything in it. Can be used for books, art supplies, shoes, office supplies and much more. We got it for shoes but after looking at how sturdy it is, we decided to use it for art supplies. With how smooth the rack rotates, it’s very handy to have art supplies on it and pick what’s needed. It’s a great shelf and color is exactly as shown in the pictures too. ... show more

Package arrived in a timely manner and all of the parts were in tact with no damage, the only issue I encountered was that there was one missing piece that was part of the shelving, the label on that piece had the incorrect sticker letter. I was able to communicate with the owner and he was super helpful, kind and understanding about the situation and offered different solutions to resolve the matter. I decided to just request the missing piece and received it about 2 weeks and a half after communicating with the owner, the wait time was expected because he made it clear that it would be lengthy and was very transparent about it. I didn’t mind it and was willing to wait because I really liked the shelve. Once the missing piece arrived I was able to put the shelve back up together and finish it. I will say the grey color shelve is soo pretty it’s a light color grey, the shelve is heavy though so I would recommend building it inside of the area/ room you would like to place it in so that it doesn’t get pushed or moved around a lot. It spins perfectly as well with no issues. The only con I would say that was major for me is that it is not sturdy enough it wobbles a lot because there is gaps of space between each layer of shelve that doesn’t close down all the way. I tried pushing down each layer as I was building it and even hammered each layer down but it would just not seal. What holds each layer connected together are these wooden stick blocks that are long but are not stable enough to provide support. Other than that the shelve is tall and a great size, I use it to put purses in it. I would rate it a 6/10 because for me it’s major for the shelf to be sturdy enough so that it can be long lasting. ... show more
