I really struggle with temperature regulation in bed plus my mattress is a bit too hard. I bought this in summer because I was too hot but didn’t put it on the bed until January, when I’m also too cold. I have slept so well! I added a blanket, too, but I’m not too hot! The cover was easy to use, I put it on the first night after an exhausting 4hour gig and finding a cat accident on the bed at 4am. It is plenty deep enough to easily go over the mattress. I’d been airing it in the guest room since July and didn’t notice any smell, not even out of the package then. The quality is good and though the topper is on the thin side, I knew that when I bought it; it is as described. I typically ache after hauling gear and playing guitar so long, but I hurt much less than after the gig two weeks earlier. Best of all, I wasn’t too hot and too cold all night long. I’m very happy.

This mattress topper by KUB did add an immediate noticeable layer of pillowy softness, which made my bed so much more comfortable. Initially, it did seem to help with my night sweats. However, the effect doesn't last all night as it does build up with some heat, albeit much less than comparable mattress toppers. For mild night sweats, this is a decent option. For severe night sweats, I would continue looking for other options. It has extremely deep pockets, which fit my bed perfectly. Overall, it is a nice option for added comfort, but perhaps isn't the best option for cooling.
