Came packaged well and was easy to set up. The machine holds a decent amount of water for multiple cups of coffee. Pretty easy to use and clean. Will make two espresso’s at one time. Frothing steamer works pretty good. Was surprised it did not come with a frothing pitcher.

This expresso machine is wonderful. It is smaller in size then other machines I have looked at so it doesn't take up a lot of room on my counter. It is still large enough to make two cups at a time. The frothing wand is at the perfect angle and works great. The only negative thing I can say about it is that there are some plastic parts on it that are painted to look metal. Here's what i love: It's easy to use and the functions are simple. The steamer wand is actually canted at a good angle to steam your milk without having to twist your arm at an awkward angle like the last one i had. The espresso is consistent, which is a bonus. The Americano setting make one perfect cup of coffee and the flavor is constantly rich and flavorful without being acidic. It's easy to clean and small enough to find counter space for it. Here's what i don't like: For this price, finding a lot of areas on the machine made of metal painted plastic rather than steel was disappointing. Something about the pressure is slightly off because the pack often leaves behind mud rather than a dry puck. The plastic alone should have lowered the price significantly. This espresso maker is nice and, once you get the hang of it, makes a nice cup of espresso. The quality of the machine is good, although for the price I feel like it should all be made of metal. But it is a good machine and does its job well.

I’ll be honest, it took us a while to get used to this machine. We are still learning, but I was finally able to make myself a cappuccino after three days of tinkering around with this. It has a large tank for water, so you don’t have to refill it very often. This makes me feel like I have a Starbucks at home, I just might have to stop using my Keurig and use this espresso machine instead! The only thing that throws me off with this espresso machine is when you use the steam option, it sort of screams at you – it reminds me of a mandrake from Harry Potter ... show more

I especially like that it has a small footprint to save space on my kitchen counter It holds enough water and it's quite easy to use After following the instructions and giving it a thorough cleaning, I made a few cups of espresso The first thing I notice is the single cup output is very low and when I check the manual it indicates 45 grams of liquid is the default output. That's quite low as that's only an 1 1/2 oz. That's not very budget friendly in the terms of the cost of coffee. It seems like you have to use the two cup option to get one cup of espresso and I like the taste better The milk frother also works very well and I like having my occasional latte Overall not a bad value.     • Excellent espresso machine for home use at a value price point
High end and professional quality espresso machines are still extremely expensive but the good news is that you can get a perfectly serviceable consumer level unit for a very low price. The performance to price ratio of this machine is off the charts. The form factor is like most machines designed for home use and it doesn't exactly 'reinvent the wheel' but it does deliver a quality shot quickly and easily. This is a really nice looking machine--rare to see a machine with a stainless steel body at this market range. The 20 bar pump has enough oomph for most consumer needs and the smart presoak system is a really nice touch. The water tank is much larger than usual, the frothing wand works well and the machine heats up quickly. It comes with everything you need except for a frothing pitcher. The plastic scoop/tamper will get you going but I'd recommend this is the first thing you upgrade. Personally, it takes me a few tries when I get a new machine to learn all of its quirks so keep this in mind. Operation is very straightforward and assuming you're experience at pulling shots and making drinks the learning curve is minimal. Hard to find a better quality machine at a price point this low.     • There is Good and Bad
Is the espresso good? Absolutely! Does the machine work perfectly? Definitely! Everything is easy to set up and use and you can enjoy perfect espresso the way you like it in minutes straight out of the box, and in seconds every time after that. My "bad" for the product is just the use of plastic parts in some locations. The mode selection dial for steaming, hot water, and coffee is made of plastic and feels cheap enough that I am afraid it might break at some point. Though I really hope that doesn't happen. Also the drip tray is made of plastic which I really don't like though it isn't that big of an issue as I have decided to just prep the steam wand in a glass instead of pointed at that tray. Other than the use of plastic in those two locations (which, when STAINLESS STEEL ESPRESSO MAKER is in the title...) bumming me out I think this is a great product. I am not sure how it compares to other similar models at lower prices though. If the internal parts are high end then it is worth skimping out on some quality in more meaninless places I suppose. I guess I will see how long it lasts and that will be a better basis of worth and value. ... show more
