Just got my printer and set it up today after down loading the app off of Google play store on mine and my wife's Android cell phone. Worked perfectly. Did several pictures with absolutely no problems. The paper goes in and out 4 times(the back side MUST not be ubstructed, completely open as the instructions say) as it adds 3 toners and 1 clear coat. Works exactly as my Canon printer. My wife loves it and plans to do more pictures. I am older and not computer literate but had no problems setting it up. If I have any problems in the future I will put it on here. ... show more

My wife had been using her main printer to print numerous pictures, which we all know, uses a lot of ink. Expensive Ink. She needed something better. Research begins. I looked at all the options we had and balanced it against what we needed. After reading many reviews, I decided to purchase this Kodak unit. When it arrived she set it up and was printing in very short order. It is interesting to watch it do its thing as it prints each color individually. I was worried that it may miss a boundary or overlap but it doesn't. The quality is what I would expect of having my prints done at a store. It takes about a minute to print each picture. The cost works out to about $.50 - .55 a print. That depends upon where you source the ink/paper packs. The print kit comes with 40 sheets and one cartridge. That's it. 40 prints per cartridge. For its size, I am good with that. There are multi packs available as well. Though a little on the noisy side, (not so noisy you can't hear your self think or carry on a normal level of conversation) it is well worth the money. And it is completely portable!! Your phone or device hooks right to it! If you decide to take the leap, you will not be sorry you did! ... show more

Got this for my granddaughter as a christmas present. She put it aside and left it for a while. Till we went to the zoo and wanted to get some pictures off her phone. Set it up and it was super easy to use and the prints came out great. You don’t get much film but it is easy to come by and the quality is the same as what comes with the printer. Works off a computer also. Even used it on the MAC and a Windows 10 PC. Going to try it off a profession camera next. Have to wait cause we are out of paper again. She likes it now and not happy that everyone is borrowing it and not returning it. Hmmm.... May have to get another or two. ... show more

    • A good print-from-phone printer for home use.
This printer will not give you state of the art results by any means, but it will produce decent 4x6 copies. We are old school in that we still have our hard copy photos printed for us through one of the older online storage and print sites. Even at that, it seems we seldom have photos printed any more. I wanted a printer that would easily print from my Android phone so that I could have copies made instantly to add to a scrapbook, or to give to friends and family immediately after taking pictures during their visits. For me, this printer wasn't exactly easy to set up because I have very few tech skills. But I did get the job done and can now print from my phone. If I can figure it out from the instructions and the app, I think just about anyone can do the same. It's best to download Kodak's app to your phone and go from there. The results are not as sharp and clear as I would like, but they are good enough for most purposes. I found that the photos were coming out darker than the originals on my phone. You can adjust for brightness however, and you can also add words, emoji and other embellishments for fun by using Kodak's Photo App. The printer comes with ink and ten sheets of good photo paper. You can easily order refills online. It may be that others who are more familiar with the workings of a photo printer such as this one will have better results. I find that the printer works fine for my occasional use, though, and I really like having my own little print shop at hand. ... show more

This product is terrible!!!!!! I purchased it for my daughter's wedding. Pulled it out a few days before the wedding to practice with it. The printer cartridge that was already installed in the printer, broke on the first photo. The film on the cartridge stuck to the photo and broke. We read all the instructions before using. Followed the instructions to the nth degree. I had purchased a pack of 3 cartridges and photo paper. We thought maybe it was just a faulty cartridge, so we gently removed the factory installed one and made sure the opening did not contain any of the broken film. We inserted one of the purchased cartridges according to the directions and it went in smoothly, exactly according to directions. Printed another picture, did the exact same thing. So my husband tried, after reading all the instructions carefully, same result! I was extremely frustrated and angry at this point. The cartridges are not cheap and now we have 3 broken cartridges. I did not have time to mess with this piece of crap any longer. I purchased 2 Fugi Instax mini polaroids and film instead. The guests had a lot of fun taking pictures with them. It just would have been really nice to have the 4x6 prints instead on the tiny polaroids. The printer itself must have been faulty! Of course, when we returned from the wedding destination it was too late to return. That's my fault. I should have taken the time to return it before we left for the wedding, but I was so short on time. I planned her wedding from a distance and made a lot of the decorations myself, which was really time consuming. I will contact Kodak and see if they will replace it. I guess at this point that would be my only recourse. ... show more

This is the photo printer I've been looking for. Highly recommend!!!! This Kodak photo printer is absolutely great. The most important part is whether it print out with cutting off itself the end of the photo because the other photo printer that I have(Cannon selphy printer) comes photo out with cutting off the margin of the photo itself. I really worried about that. However this Kodak photo printer DO NOT cut my photo and its printed exactly same size that I set before printing. Also its very clearly, easy to use with app. I usually using this printer to hang photos up to the wall or refrigerator, so this is a perfect size for that use. ... show more

This is a great little printer!!! I was debating on buying it or not because I saw a lot of people posting pictures that were just yellow. If it is yellow you took it out to soon!!!! The printer only does one color at a time. The first color it does is yellow. It will go in and out of the printer a few times. Before it is done!! It will do the color yellow first, then blue and all the other colors too. So don't touch it until it kinda pops out of the printer!!! I bought this for my son as a Christmas present as he wanted the Fuji Instant camera but I just couldn't justify endlessly purchasing film packets. I thought this would be great as he could take pics on his cellphone and easily print them off without having to download etc. Setup was fairly simple and we were up and running. We printed a few pics and they were acceptable. Not great but that may have been partially due to photographer error so I won't really comment on that too much. We would have been able to give a more thorough review of the print quality but alas after a couple of uses, it stopped feeding the paper through. I tried everything I could think of and then realized that the wheel that moves to feed the paper wasn't making contact. Keep in mind we had only used the printer probably less than five times. Needless to say, I was pretty frustrated. Luckily I was able to return to amazon. I was going to exchange but didn't feel incredibly confident in the quality and didn't want to run into the same issue again so I went with a cannon version instead. For simplicity, I do like this one better, and had we not had an issue with the paper feeder we would have been content to continue using it. I'm giving it three stars because it was easy to use before it broke but breaking within a week of use left me and my son pretty disappointed. ... show more
