Description

Product Description KnuKonceptz Bassik 0 Gauge Amplifier Installation Kit contains KnuKonceptz Bassik series product and cable. All cables included within this kit meet American Wire Gauge spec cable. KnuKonceptz continues its pledge to manufacture cables that meet industry and globally recognized specifications. Made from large strand Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA), our Bassik Power wire is our budget friendly cable designed for lower powered applications. How many watts can this amp kit handle? At KnuKonceptz, we do not use "watts" to rate our amp kits. This is a very inaccurate method to determine what the proper gauge wire required for your amp installation. Many amp manufactures do not represent the output of their product accurately in watts. Please refer to your amplifier's fuse rating, this is a number a manufacture can not fake, well they could but it would put their product in harms way! Add up the fuses on the end of your amp (two 80A fuses = 160A total draw) If this number is under 200A, this kit will fit your application. If over 200A, our KCA series or Kolossus Series amp kits would be required Beware of "3000 Watt" amp kits that include a 150 fuse. Its physically impossible for these kits to support this load (refer to our comparison photo) Standards exist for the safety and benefit of the customer. All KnuKonceptz cable products meet or exceed American Wire Gauge standards. When these standards are not met, your safety and our integrity are lost. Our Bassik series of cable meet exact AWG specification for the appropriate gauge indicated. KnuKonceptz KCA and Kolossus Kables exceed AWG specifications These materials are commonly used, but not commonly stated when shopping online. Know what you are purchasing. Both metals are capable of performing up to their rated loads. Wire gauge is crucial to powering your system correctly. Undersized cable will create unsafe conditions and may shorten your amplifier's life. Wire's ampacity changes with gauge and materials. KnuKonceptz does not rate cable based on watts. Amplifier manufactures do not always truthfully state the output of their product, check your on board fuses!

    • KnuKoncepts products mean quality.
Size: 0 Gauge
I don't use a lot of CCA wire but KnuKoncepts really over-builds this product (stupid high strand count) and I used it for an install where 4 gauge OFC would have "probably" been enough. Make sure you use a quality grommet where you pass through the firewall if not going through a boot and wrap it in tape to protect it anywhere you think it might vibrate/rub. The only reason I say that is that the strand count is so high that the insulation is thinner than their OFC products. I doubt that it would fail but it's better to be safe (and fused) than sorry, especially with wire this big/high current capable. ... show more

    • CCA 1/0 wire
Size: 0 Gauge
Can’t give it 4 stars because I ordered the wrong thing. I didn’t realize there was CCA and OFC this the CCA one works for what it’s needed for. Strong flexible for easy installation.

    • Great kit for my comp amp.
Size: 0 Gauge
I put this kit on my class d comp amp, pushing 1800 rms. It is durable and well made. The wire is true 0 gauge which is the kit I ordered. They do sell multiple size wire kits. The kit came with everything I needed. I would buy from these guys again. The kit was great for the price and had enough wire to go from front to back of my 300c. ... show more

Size: 0 Gauge
I like that the kit came with everything and easy to install, but it was too thick for the amp I brought, and that's my fault, overall impressed with shipping and handling and the speed it got to me

Size: 0 Gauge
Knuconceptz is the best wire company on the market. I use them in all my builds. Typically Kolossus line though.

    • Above expectations, actual great wire size
Size: 0 Gauge
Just worked perfect. Not your average cheap kit that has hardly any actual wire in it. Packaged well and gives my 1500w cea rated amplifier good clean power. Did not use the rca cable so can’t speak to it but everything else was on point.
