Easy assembly, but the product is cheap. A piece of the cabinet door came off . A piece came chipped and the cabinet doors don’t close correctly. Decent for temporary use but definitely not a good option for long-term furniture.

We had empty space under some cupboards that I always wished had a narrow cabinet for extra storage and a surface for the coffee pot etc. as we have very limited counter/storage space in our kitchen. This fit that bill perfectly. It sits behind an entry door so it couldn't be too wide like a regular counter but obviously needed to be wide enough to be useful. It has a good mix between counter space, open space for things you don't mind being displayed/in view, and closed space for storage. It gave us a place to put pops/drinks out of sight that used to just sit on the floor behind the door as well as more storage space for tupperware instead of cramming everything in the cabinets we had, and counter space for the coffee pot and keurig and mugs. In our situation we also needed space under the cabinet as the place it sits has a floor register. With one of those plastic magnetically attached directional hoods over the register it had just enough space to fit! The hardware is very similar to the existing hardware in our kitchen too so that was helpful. As far as the hardware goes, one "caution", the inner doors hinges technically go on backwards. The directions are pretty clear in my opinion and it did say to put them on the way they go but having built a lot of stuff over the years, including many types of furniture like this, I could see there was a "flat" side of the hinge and what is a more finished side. Naturally I figured the instructions must be wrong but the holes do not line up using the "finished" side and the hinge will not work properly either. So long story short, trust the instructions and follow them carefully. There are a lot of parts so give yourself room (at least 2-3x's the size of the box) and some time. It's a little tedious but not difficult. Also remember this is not real wood so be careful if you are using an electric screwdriver, drill, or impact driver-it doesn't require, and can't handle, much torque to tighten the hardware. And while it's not that heavy, especially for 2 people, I would move it carefully since again, it's not real wood. My rating is really a 4.5 simply because after getting everything together one of the doors is noticeably crooked and there's really no way to fix it. I tried adjusting the hinges on both doors to split the difference but it didn't work. Another purchaser posted a video on this cabinet and his did the same thing-and I believe it was the same door. I've included a picture of the whole cabinet and the door to get an idea. So take a look at the video and my pic and decide if that would be a big problem in case it's a typical issue.

Glad we took a chance on buying this cabinet. It came well packed and the box was pretty heavy. Took a few hours to put it together but it turned out nice. I like that the inner shelves are adjustable and that there's some open shelves on top. Only small issues were that the doors didn't quite match up on ours but it's not a big deal. Also we had to add stick-on furniture pads to even out the legs, but that's probably a good idea to do anyway. Overall a good purchase for our home! It added more storage for our kitchen area that we really needed.

I needed something to tidy up my room as well as be a display spot for my Lego builds. I hunted high and low and I’m glad I found this! The light strip in the cubbies are a great addition and really showcase my smaller builds. The cabinets I use for shoe storage, it can fit about 15-20 pairs of shoes depending how you store them. The material is presswood with a veneer but it feels sturdy. I do like that the back gets slid in and secured rather than just nailed in - in most DIY storage pieces, nailed in usually means eventually it’ll pop out and fail. This is sturdy and has a good weight, doesn’t feel flimsy at all. It was quite easy to build, the cam locks are a bit on the cheap side and can bend if not installed correctly. Luckily, they do give you some spare pieces just in case. The doors do require some finessing to line up properly, but all in all it’s a great way to store and organize your items.
