  • Wish the color changed more often
Color: Rainbow Pla+ Size: PLA+
It’s good filament I just wish the color would change more often. It’s good if you’re making big prints but if you’re just making small ones, you’re gonna get a lot that are the same color. Still it adds a lot of variety and is good if you want some color but don’t want to buy 10 different rolls of filament ... show more

  • Great color!
Color: Rainbow Pla+ Size: PLA+
Picked this up mostly out of curiosity -- I run an AD5X with a 4-color AMS so I don't usually need rainbow filament to get color variety, but I wanted to see how the gradient transitions looked on single-extruder prints and whether the PLA+ properties were actually an upgrade over standard PLA. Short answer: the color shifts are smooth and the filament itself is solid. No clogs, no tangles out of the box, and the spool was properly wound -- something I don't take for granted anymore. Came vacuum sealed with desiccant, which matters more than people realize. Wet filament kills surface quality and this arrived dry. The PLA+ flex resistance is noticeable compared to regular PLA. I did a bend test on a thin-walled section and it took a lot more abuse before showing stress marks. For functional parts where you want a little give, that's worth something. Where the rainbow effect lands on your print depends entirely on your layer height, print speed, and model size. Smaller models cycle through colors fast; larger flat surfaces let the gradient breathe. It takes some experimentation to predict where transitions will fall if that matters to you. At this price point it's an easy recommendation for anyone who wants interesting single-extruder prints without dialing in a multi-material setup. Good filament, no drama. ... show more

  • Smooth, strong, and stunning
Color: Rainbow Pla+ Size: PLA+
Loaded this filament into the K1C and ran it at 300mm/s—no clogs, no stringing, just clean extrusion and crisp layer bonding. The color transitions are smooth and vivid, especially on larger prints. The spool is neatly wound, vacuum-sealed with desiccant, and the filament diameter stays consistent at ±0.03mm. It’s got enhanced toughness compared to standard PLA, so prints feel more durable without sacrificing detail. Works great with both direct drive and Bowden setups, and it’s compatible with most FDM printers. ... show more

  • It looks really nice.
Color: Rainbow Pla+ Size: PLA+
This was my first time using reality filament and I really like the colors that it switches. The adhesion is what I expect from a good quality pla. I made a eater down for my wife and it looks really good. I will continue to buy and use creality filament.

  • Decent quality filament, but be aware that color transitions are very gradual
Color: Rainbow Pla+ Size: PLA+
Since this listing is for a number of different filament colors, and also randomly a filament dryer, note that my review is based specifically on the rainbow filament. I haven’t had any issues with clogging, adhesion on a smooth PEI print sheet (for Prusa CORE One) is good, layer adhesion is also good, and I haven’t experienced any other problems. One thing to note is that there is a lot of filament length in between color transitions. If you’re printing something relatively small, it’s likely to be all one color, with maybe a little bit of a second color added in depending on where you are in the stool. Where this filament really shines is on large prints, where you actually do get a second or maybe third color. In my opinion, they should have a version like this (and label it accordingly: because this isn’t what I was expecting), and a version for smaller objects where the colors transition more closely together and the rainbow repeats throughout the spool. I’ve only used about 1/10 of it so far (it’s on yellow now), so I’m not sure how many rainbows you get in a spool, or if it just starts on violet and ends on red. In the picture, you’ll see the “Robo Alpaka” print from Prusa’s test models. I thought it looked pretty decent and the print quality wasn’t bad. ... show more

  • Stunning 3D Printed Decor with Creality PLA Plus Filament
Color: Rainbow Pla+ Size: PLA+
I've been thoroughly impressed with the Creality PLA Plus Filament after using it for a 9-hour print session. The 1.75mm rainbow filament flowed smoothly with no tangles, and it worked flawlessly with my extruder, producing vibrant, detailed results. The ±0.03mm dimensional accuracy is spot-on, making it perfect for intricate designs like the vase and flowers I created (shown in the photo). The upgraded toughness held up well, and the colors blend beautifully. My only minor gripe is that it requires careful storage to avoid moisture, but that’s standard for PLA. For anyone into 3D printing, this filament offers great value and reliability for both functional and decorative projects. ... show more

  • Looks nothing like what the picture shows, doesn't feed properly
Color: Rainbow Pla+ Size: PLA+
This rainbow filament looks nothing like what the picture shows. It's not shiny at all - it's very dull and the colors aren't vibrant. The colors are also spaced way too far apart so if you want something with a rainbow effect you'll have to print a HUGE print. Also, it's wound way too tightly on the roll, so it binds up. I decided to try a large print to get the effect and it failed 8 hours in to a 10 hour print because the filament got tangled on the roll and the printer couldn't pull it off. I'll never buy Ender filament again. ... show more

  • Want rainbow change filament. Look elsewhere
Color: Rainbow Pla+ Size: PLA+
Filament is just OK. I specially bought this for some prints that my grand-daughter asked me to print for her. The color change is slow, meaning for small prints there isn’t much change. My bigger disappoint was the transitions which were not very gradual and resulted in some pretty unflattering mixes of the base colors. I have been very happy with Creality filaments. I have printed hundreds of spools of their PETG. This is by far, my least satisfying experience with their brand. For my application it just didn’t work. I wish I could offer a picture, but I was so disappointed in the results I just tossed the prints and ended up redoing them in solid colors. ... show more
