Super easy to use. Just put wire in end & close handles. It cuts the insulation of the tiniest wires & pulls it off! Even has a adjustable stopper so can strip wires the same length! And wire cutter on side is so handy! . They do seem a bit light & are mostly plastic, but, at this price, can just replace them if they break. And it's so much safer & easier than stripping the wires with an exacto knife. DON'T USE TO CUT STEEL WIRES!!!!! (This is my second pair, due to operator error) ... show more

They do in fact, at least, cut from #22 - #8, and are still going strong after a year, though they've often struggled to strip in one go, could be the wire, or it could be the tensioner.

They work OK.....

EDIT: Used them at work wiring a control panel. Mainly IO wiring of AWG16. Done OK at first but after about an hour they quit working. Verily marking the insulation. Blades not replaceable, no adjustment etc make these things just useless..JUNK ! I ordered the D3N model, no model no on the tool. But I thought I was getting ones with adjustment. These have no adjustment for different types insulation. Average DIY stuff they work OK. Electronics, car wiring, basic house wiring with softer insulation they are fine. Still easier than the old style you have to twist and pull. In a production environment like panel building/wiring they arent that great. These struggle with THHN or the harder thermoplastic insulation. I wouldnt expect them to last in that situation. But, around the home, auto, farm etc they are good. ... show more

It's so easy, This feels like cheating. The amount of wiring that it pulled wasn't enough for me, so I bent the wiring and pulled more away. But it still worked well enough.
