The media could not be loaded. Buying this was actually an excuse to try and start cooking again, and so far I'm enjoying it (except for clean-up)! My older knives were originally in a drawer before deciding to switch it up and purchasing this block (old knives were pretty blunt), but I'm glad I did. It feels great and quite sturdy for the things I tend to work with, which is nothing too fancy but mostly with chicken and thinner slices of beef. I did really appreciate the speed and packaging it came in as well, as I know this is not the highest of quality but still feels really great. For the price and amount of items you get I'd say it's good for what it is and gets the job done. Rinsing and cleaning the knives so far have not been an issue as well, and tend to look quite clean after a bit of extra soaping and scrubbing. Definitely suggest giving it a shot as it still looks good as new from the first time I received it!

These knives are great for the money. I am only disappointed in the scissors. They will cut open food bags and the like, but not always well. Not meant for any heavy lifting there. But so far the knives have been great! They are sharp and they clean up well in the dishwasher.

Hi there, folks. I'd like you to go find me a knife set that is symmetrically designed and therefore perfectly presented with maximum functionality. I'll wait . . . It's quite difficult to find many designs such as this, especially at this price point. I love the appearance of this set, as I'm quite particular when it comes to symmetry. The symmetrical design of this piece looks great and is highly functional when accessing the tool you need. The knives are well made and sharp. The overall design of them is fairly standard, however they are high quality. Also, you get a fork with this set, which is rather rare for a set like this, so it's an added bonus.

Beautiful and ergonomic feel. Good weight and balance and came sharp and ready. A good all around set. My 8" Santoku however did have some micro chips on the edge (I have a microscope for viewing when I sharpen my knives) so I asked for either replacement or some discount. They did not have single knife replacements but they did give me a fair discount - super quick and easy to work with them. I expect to clean up the Santoku's edge when I do my own sharpening so we shall see. Overall, a great set and highly recommended.

I bought these for my son and his wife for a gift. The were extremely happy with them and while using them at their home they warned me to be careful because they are really sharp. We all keep our knives sharp so I kind of didnt heed his warning as well as I should have. These knives are sharp! They are made well and a phenomenal value. Do not buy low end name brands to play it safe. They dont measure up to these knives. 20 years ago, maybe, but not now. These are far superior in my opinion and turned out to be a great gift choice.

They are really good quality and designed amazing sharp knives with sharpener. Different types of knives come with a fantastic box. Proper storage helps protect your knives and keeps them organized. The whole knives set is stainless steel, which is very easy to clean and maintain, with a comfortable grip and a black wood block for knives.
