Bought this for my 14yr old son. So far he loves it. The frame is very sturdy. This is made for someone over 200lbs. Would 100% trust the 500lbs capacity(on the frame). Good hardware, I used blue threadlocker on the main frame to ensure the bolts don't loosen. Only negative is the seat. Good quality material(cloth), very good cushion, very comfortable. But, it only has the one bracket on the right side w/the seat recliner. The other side just has a peg and hole type attachment. So if push back against the seat it bends back on the left side. Would be better if it had a bracket on both sides. The recliner doesn't auto return to the lock position, have to pull up, adjust seat back then push back down to ensure seat back position locks. Love the seat slider allows from me to race and then my taller sons to race comfortable aswell, with any being to far or close to the wheel and pedals. Overall great racing rig for the price. Will probably buy second for my older son.

This thing is solid. As far as value goes tough to say because I bought it for my son but he's gotten daily use out of it over the past year and there's nothing wrong with it.

I finally got my hands on the Dardoo Racing Simulator Cockpit Frame with the racing seat, and wow, it’s like I’ve been handed the keys to my own virtual racecar. This thing is a beast, built tough with a solid frame that doesn’t budge even when I’m pretending I’m in the last lap of the Indy 500. The seat’s comfy enough to keep me planted for hours, though it does attract dust and cat hair like it’s auditioning for a vacuum cleaner commercial. Adjusting it was a breeze since the wheel mount and pedal tray slide around to fit my gangly legs just right. I hooked up my Logitech G29, and it felt like the cockpit was made for it with zero hassle. Assembly wasn’t too bad either, though I did curse a couple bolts like a sailor before figuring it out. Now my sim racing feels so real I’m half-expecting a pit crew to show up with snacks. If you’re looking to level up your racing game without breaking the bank, this setup’s a total win!

Why 4 stars instead of 5 stars?!? Id say it should really be 4.5 stars but you can't select it. I owned the Next Level fold chair set up and upgraded to this because I also upgraded a direct drive wheel and load cell pedal. Many of the rigs that $600 and up still have stability flaws or are a little overpriced. This unit (cockpit 54) has robust tubing and come with a chair for ~$415. Thats a deal!! Its much more solid than the $250 folding chair styles and has a real reclining seat that's kinda sporty feeling even at entry level comfort. I was worried abour the pedal tray flexing or the wheel mount flexing, but they both have minimal flex fortunately. The three things that I think need to be said are: 1. Dont tighten any chassis bolt down until all flange holes have bolt/nuts in them as you may need to hold some in place to line them up and they'll need to be loose. 2. Youll want to goto a store and get some 6m bolts and spacers to find slightly better wheel and pedal angles. 3. If you do a little puzzle solving you can actually mount the pedals inverted and eliminate a lot potential pedal flex and have better control. For less than $500 bux, its a great platform, but its even cheaper if you already have a seat.

Strong well made. Mostly, easy to assemble. Have one item to improve. the Allen head bolts used to mount the seat to the frame are too long to install from the bottom up with the nuts in the track. Ok so installing them from the top-down runs into the issue of tightening the back two. The seat cannot be moved to a place where there is clearance to hold the head of the bolt with the supplied Allen wrench. I had to cut the Allen wrench "just right" so it would fit but still be long enough to catch the Allen head. Suggestion: supply shorter Allen bolts (so they don't prevent seat adjustment) put the nuts in the upper track (they fit perfectly and don't need a wrench to hold them) life is good!

If you're a small person or a 8yo+ kid this will be ok. However as a fullsize adult, the chair itself is far too tight in the shoulder support and causes me serious neck pain after 2hr or so of using. At this point I add a pillow to the back support. The whole unit came damaged in shipping many scratches/scrapes of pain missing. It is relatively easy to put together and takes about an hour. It's decently sturdy for cheaper racing wheels, but anything probably 10Nm or more will have some flex. Over 15Nm I would worry about longevity of its mounting points. Furthermore the way of mounting limits you a bit. Pay $300 or less and expect these downfalls.
