I needed some nice quality knives for my upscale vacation rentals that won't rust hopefully (I will put a "hand wash/dry" on the block too) that isn't going to take up a lot of room on the counter, can be sharpened (although right now, I'd be careful not to cut myself) and offers just the right size 5 knives you would need in the kitchen (skip the steak knives I have them in the drawer). The knives look good and the block is much nicer for the price then I would normally expect too. I'm thinking of getting one for myselff too even though I have some old professional knives. Price is great for what you get. Hope I still feel this way after time goes by too.

I purchased this knife set and block for my husband as a Christmas gift. Here we are, four months later, and it's awesome. We feel like big time adults now with our fancy knives and knife block set. The knives are sharp and easily cut through anything you've got. We've had no issues with their care at all! TBH the instructions do say to avoid submerging the wood of the knives in water but we've been sticking our in the dishwasher and even after frequent use, there's no noticeable difference in the wood. It's also smaller than a lot of the knife blocks we were looking at, which makes it great for a smaller kitchen like ours. Def worth the money, and then some.

Wow! This is the second set of these knives I have purchased. My daughter loved mine so much, I bought her a set for Christmas. These knifes really hold an edge and cut like a razor. The manufacturer may want to consider adding a sharpening rod to the set to make it complete.
