For the price, this is a very decent set of knives, as long as you're willing to sharpen often. 3Cr13 is corrosion resistant but it's also quite soft, so you'll have to sharpen these knives pretty regularly. However, at this price point that's fully acceptable, as long as the steel grade is made clear to the buyer, which it is. They're very shiny and they do appear to be full tang knives, meaning that the metal the knife blade is made of goes the whole way through the handle. The downside of these knives is also why they're so cheap - they're made of 3Cr13 steel. That means they're inexpensive and incredibly easy to sharpen, but they will need frequent resharpening with regular use. The knives arrive sharp and there's no need to sharpen them right out of the box, they're ready to use as-is, all you have to do is pull them out of the protective plastic. The knife block is made of black plastic which has a bunch of slots for knives to go in, in almost any configuration you like. There are plenty of extra slots for some additional knives even if you stick to a single knife per slot. That's always a nice feature, it means you don't need to worry about getting a new knife block even if you get or already have a couple extra knives. I tested these knives for durability given the listed steel grade, 3Cr13, and they performed as expected. They didn't chip, and they don't bend any easier than you would expect. They aren't meant for anything beyond handling food, so they're quite suitable for use in the kitchen on regular foods. I absolutely would not recommend trying to use these on, for example, metal or bones. For regular foods like tomatoes, chickens, fish, and vegetables though? Definitely well-suited. This came with a mysterious set of measuring utensils that I'm really not sure what to make of. They're well made, out of black plastic, and it's a neat bonus feature I suppose... But with no mention of it currently in the description or the package, I'm very confused. Overall, for the price, you could do much worse. I'm going to keep using these knives and scissors, and I'll update this review with any issues I encounter with them down the line. I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis. I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review. I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product. I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the questionable. And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected.

This knife set is both sleek and functional. The knives are sharp, well-balanced, and look great on the countertop. My only minor critique is that nothing defined what each knife is supposed to be used for. Obviously, a little self-explanatory but would like to use the best knife for what I'm attempting to cut up. Looks great in my modern kitchen.

This is a very nice knife set with knife block. It also comes with a set of measuring cups and measuring spoons. The knives are well-made, sharp, and easy to hold in the hand. The cups and spoons are plastic and well-made. This is a 4-piece set of knives and scissors, which all fit very nicely inside the knife block. I like that the knives can fit anywhere inside the block. The scissors are sharp and cut well. This knife set looks great sitting on the kitchen countertop. I really do like this knife set with accessories. I recommend it.

I love the knife block as you can easily clean it. My issue is with the knife handles. In several, there's a bit of a gap so I'm concerned about food/water getting stuck in there. Otherwise, it's a nice cheap knife set.

I do quite a lot of canning and general cooking, so I'm constantly on the lookout for good knives. This set does not disappoint. The knives are well balanced. I used them for a lot of food prep for canning, and over the course of several hours my hands did not get tired. They're also quite sharp. The cleaver made easy work of cutting a 15-lb boneless pork roast into bite-sized pieces. I love being able to scoop all the food onto the knife and transferring to a dish. I appreciate the subtly of the logo placement. I've seen knives with large, high-contrast logos that don't look high-end. The logo on these knives is large, but it's done in the same metal as the blade so that it's not glaring. The set comes with a knife block that would match with a modern style home. I'm not accustomed to blocks that aren't angled, but lifting the knives straight up, I didn't have any issues with the space beneath my cabinets. People who will be placing the set underneath cabinets with minimal space between countertop and the bottom of cabinets should consider that the knives will have to be lifted straight up.
