These knives look great on my counter & are razor sharp right out of the box. I've used them constantly for a few weeks already & they are still as sharp as the first day I used them. If they do start to get dull, there is a built in sharpener on the block. I am extremely happy with this purchase. I didn't have to spend a lot to get a good quality, sharp knife. The handles are sturdy & the knives feel good in my hand. I have good control & they are not too light like some cheaper knives but aren't too heavy so it doesn't feel like a chore to hold it either. The weight says "expensive" and the cuts say "high end" as they easily slice thin sections off say a tomato without crushing it or having to saw back and forth. This is a perfect set for anyone looking to have a beautiful, good quality knife set for their kitchen but maybe don't want to spend hundreds of dollars doing that. I originally purchased this set for my daughter as part of a house warming gift but after using them I purchased another set for my kitchen. I love them!

We got this set in April of 2024 with a giftcard my Mom gave me for Christmas. Did NOT expect this knife block to hold up so well. Other than the knife edges being clearly used, they are amazing. They do need sharpening but damn. We put ours in our well known abusive dishwasher and they come clean like nothing. Awesome. Great product for the cost.
