I like the look. There was one knife that had the wood loose, not bad enough to send back. They are very sharp. Had a teenager accidentally put one in the dishwasher. After one wash it took off the finish on the handle. Overall not bad for the price. Just don't put in the dishwasher.

I absolutely love this knife set!!! It looks like it is a really expensive set of knives, but is very reasonably priced. The quality is amazing!! The knives are very sharp, and cut great. One thing I also really like, is that on the knife block, each spot is labeled. It makes it easier to make sure that the knives all go back in the right spot. My brother in law was so impressed with how these look, so I got him a set for Christmas, and he was over the moon excited about them. I am very pleased with these. I love the set. Absolutely beautiful, pre-sharpened and well packaged.. except that the scissors never made it into their box. When unpackaging I discovered one of the 2 boxes completely empty, only thing missing from the set was the scissors. I just put in a pair we already had but it would have been nice to get everything I paid for the 1st time, the only resolution they offer is to send back the set and wait for a new one with no guarantee that it will have all its pieces.
