I love this ice maker! Like many other people, the in-door ice maker in my fridge died. The fridge is fine, so I’m not replacing it for an ice maker. But I sure do love ice in my drink. This is better than the fridge one. Nice little nuggets of ice and you use a handy scoop to get it out.

It DOES make nugget ice BUT it DOES NOT make nugget ice like the ones from typical fast food places that have nugget ice like SONIC, RAISIN CANES, etc. It is slightly loud-ish, sounds like a mini fan honestly. But not annoyingly loud to the point where you want to put it in another room. BUT! The ice is still amazing, soft and makes it very fast. I would definitely recommend and buy again as a gift.

It worked fine at first and we were pretty happy with it. We had only one issue at first and that was when it was making ice the ice seemed to pile up below the ice making area so the ice would stop being made before the ice bucket was full because the ice would just pile up until the machine thought it was full of ice. We dealt with this by frequently using the scoop to move the ice to the left which made more room for additional ice to be made. My biggest problem is that less than 60 days after we got the machine it started making a very loud noise when in use. I contacted the company and they offered to replace my machine for free, but before I read their offer to replace my ICE Maker, I had ordered a bottle of ICE MACHINE CLEANER and after running it through the Ice Maker the noise went away. I have now used the Ice Maker for three additional months with NO noise or problems other than the fact that the Ice still piles up in the basket causing the ice maker to stop making ice before the basket gets full. I recommend that you buy "Ice Machine Cleaner" made by Essential Values and run 1 oz of the cleaner with 1 quart of water every month with your regular cleaning of this ice maker to guarantee that the ice machine continues to run quietly and efficiently as possible. I was happy to get an offer to replace my machine which I declined because after cleaning my machine with the Ice Machine Cleaner product my ice machine has continued to make ice as expected for at least 5 months now without any further issues which I had originally reported.

Well, I absolutely loved this machine for about 8 months. Now there's black residue and chunks of metal or something grinding inside the machine that is getting into the ice. It makes a very high pitch squeal noise. Doesn't make ice anymore. I clean it often and it does not fix the issue. I'm worried about what has slowly been getting into the ice. I actually use filtered water on the machine. I know it's not the water I'm using. I feel like it's internally falling apart. I'm so disappointed in this purchase. Didn't last a SINGLE year.

I purchased this in November, worked great, no complaints but one day in July it just stopped working. I reached out to customer service and they replaced it with a new one immediately, two day shipped it. I can’t speak enough to the great customer service. I always worry about having to jump through hoops if I have an issue. This was seamless and simple experience. I will be back to buy more from this company.

The media could not be loaded. This machine is COMPACT, for sure. If you have more than 4 ppl in your family, this isn’t for you. The tray holds enough ice for a tumbler size of 24-30oz (filled to the top). Not enough if you’re having a lot of ppl over. The nuggets are soft and small, but sometimes they’re more like “slushies” for some reason. And when the machine starts to make ice, it’ll make a “pop” sound. No idea why. And it isn’t NOT quiet when it’s making ice, as per my video. I would not buy this machine again.
