Acoustic wise,I'll say this before anything else. What you put in , is what you get out! I use this speaker via Bluetooth from my Sony Xperia IV. The music app I use is jet audio plus. It lets you control every aspect of what you play. That being said you can tweak the music so well, so it performs on whatever speaker you are using. For the price I think sound quality is decent and if anything too powerful for my needs. If you are an audio nerd, you'll probably want to spend more. Why did you pick this product vs others?: When I first started listening to this speaker I was very disappointed. I expected more. I just let it play music while I did other things thinking that I would return it. Then I noticed the sound was totally different. It sounded like a different speaker. Nice highs and full lows. I had already paired it with my phone in an attempt to bring out the sound, but that didn't seem to help. What might have actually happened is that it just needed a little time to break in the speaker(s) a bit. After an hour of two of listening the speaker sounds great! It automatically connects to my PC without any issues and it is a great looking speaker as well. I highly recommend this as a PC speaker. The sound is very good for a compact bluetooth speaker, among the best I've heard, powerful and balanced, although I would have liked a little more clarity. You probably already know that it's not portable and it doesn't have a remote, so I'm not subtracting points for that, but you should also know that it doesn't work out of the box with Windoze 11. There is a simple solution though posted in the Klipsch forums (and disappointingly not by the company support): go to Device Manager -> Sound and game controller", disable "Intel Smart Sound Technology for Bluetooth Audio" device. Android is fine. In my opinion value for money is not good, for this price one could get a pair of bookshelf speaker and an amplifier, which will be in another class. I've wanted for a few years a way to get more volume and output from my excellent Sony "boombox", which I use as a "head unit." Its output is only 1.5 watts RMS per each ot its two speakers; so not too bad sometimes. But I wanted more output and presence. This Klipsch One Plus was the answer—and it delivers! I searched for a single unit speaker, not rechargeable but powered by A/C wall power. And this was the only thing that really fit the bill. It's 60 watts output so a massive improvement with excellent tight bass as well to the "boombox." I bought it from Amazon refurb but would have gladly purchased it new. In my opinion, the only way to beat this is to spend a lot more money for a multi-speaker system with separate power amp etc. Way too much money and too complex for me. I was a professional audio engineer decades ago at a small audio company. We manufactured amps and pre-amps which cost in the multiple thousands of dollars. We were one of only a handful of companies in the world that manufactured true class-A solid state amps. So I am a knowledgable audiophile. For the money, I know of no way to beat this unit for what it gives you. I strongly recommend buy one soon because these continue to go up in price fast. ... show more
