Style: Party Speaker
I was very skeptical about the quality of this Partybox, I watched review videos from multiple sources and eventually purchased it with fingers crossed .🤞. Pro’s: After having the speaker for a while and using it a minimum of 3 times a week, I can confidently tell you that I am still impressed with the quality and the volume is massive. For my home gym I turn it up to 20-30%, any louder and conversations are a bit tough to hear. Although if you workout alone, crank that baby up to 50%! For blaring through my 2300 sqr ft house, I turn it up to 40-50%. By the way, the bass will shake every wall in your home. I can guarantee I shake my neighbors walls if I went up beyond 50%. For our large backyard pool parties, I turn it up to 30-60%. Any louder and you will have neighbors complaining. I have tested the speaker at 70-100% and wow! Normally you would expect quality to go down but nope. This thing is loud and proud. I can’t imagine a setting I would ever be in to play at 80% +. It’s one of those speakers that I want to turn it up to 100% and drive 100/200/300 yards away to see if you can still jam. There are 3 different bass settings. First is No Bass Boost, it works exactly as stated. Good for keeping the pictures on the wall. This setting is what the song normally sounds like. Second is Deep Bass Boost, this is typically where I leave it for parties. Everyone will feel it. I had a pool party of 30 people and they all said they loved how they could feel the bass along with hearing all the mids and vocals clearly. Third is Punchy Bass Boost, I’m not a fan of this one. But I’m sure it has its uses. It’s not as gut deep as the Deep Bass but it’s still a good thud. I can easily move the speaker due to the wheels on the back. This works perfect for a budget buy. Instead of buying different systems for different events or locations. This Partybox is mobile! There are buttons/key pads on top of the speaker that you can keybind to specific sounds that come with the App. There are around 15 different sounds, maybe more I forget. Could be up to 30 🤷♂️ sorry I forget. My kids like to mess with them but I don’t ever touch them. The key pads allow you to alter the song that is playing. You can skip and scratch and all that DJ stuff. The RBG lights are amazing. Many different settings and different colors. Even the DJ pulsing white light setting. Lights are very fun and you can have them turn completely off or shuffle. There is a built in equalizer in the App. Con’s: Price is steep. The reason I decided to purchase a pricey speaker is because I wanted surround sound in my house. You are looking at $5k-$30k for that. But now I have a mobile speaker for every event I do. I never have to buy anything other system. There is no battery and it requires an electrical socket 🔌 plug in. If you wanted to use it in the middle of a parking lot, or a grass field, or at the beach, you will need to bring yourself a quiet generator. With the amount of power it takes to push the speakers I don’t think a battery would last very long. Most people don’t have a quiet generator and that costs even more $$. The wheels on the back are good for moving across flat surfaces, but if you need to cross a door threshold it can cause your partybox to bounce and jolt. I’m not a fan of bouncing around speakers that cost so much. There is a large handle on the top and a good grip space on the bottom. You can do it alone if you don’t mind lifting 90lbs in an awkward position but usually I just have a second person grab the other end while we move over a door threshold. Lastly the App. Let me start by saying you don’t need the App to use your Partybox. It’s a Bluetooth or WiFi connection and you can play your playlist. However if you planned on connecting through the App to control all the lights and the song equalizer. This is where I have problems. While my son is able to automatically connect every time through his Samsung, I must hard reset and force find to connect every time on my iPhone. It’s incredibly annoying and I have given up. I simply go to my Bluetooth and select the partybox instead and it works just fine. But this means I can’t control any settings from my phone. Overall: 10/10 with the caveat of my iPhone to App connection. I’m very pleased with the speaker and in my opinion is worth the steep price if you use it almost daily like we do. ... show more

  • Amazing Sound and Incredible Bass
Style: Party Speaker
The JBL PartyBox Ultimate exceeded my expectations. I used it for outdoor gatherings and camping, and the sound quality is absolutely incredible. The bass is deep and powerful without overpowering the vocals, and the volume is more than enough to fill a large area. The built-in light show adds a great atmosphere at night, making any gathering feel like a real party. Setup was simple, and the connectivity options worked flawlessly with my phone. The build quality feels premium and durable, and despite its size, it is easy to move around with the built-in wheels. If you’re looking for a speaker with powerful sound, impressive bass, and great party features, the JBL PartyBox Ultimate is an excellent choice. Highly recommended! 🎵🔥 ... show more

  • If you’re willing to pay the money, it’s worth it.
Style: Party Speaker
I own the Party Box 310 and not long after that I purchased the Party Box 710. The reason behind these purchases was for my nephew‘s wedding. He asked me if I would be the DJ. When I purchased the 310, I was like ,oh wow, cool, this is a really neat speaker. Then I purchased 710 and was blown off the floor. I didn’t think there would be another speaker that could match the music ability of this speaker. I was so wrong!!! The Party Box Ultimate Speaker really blows them away. I’ve been playing with his speaker for about a week now. Even download the new app for the speaker the music voices sound effects, etc. out exceed the other two speakers I own not saying that they are bad speakers which I’m still gonna use them. It’s just that this one is a true audio dream. This one speaker is very loud and it does not distort easily. I’ve put it through a lot of paces and a lot of music genres. It’s handle it with ease Yes, it’s a very large speaker and yes, it is heavy. It is gonna be kinda of a butt to move around with such small wheels. Though they are upgraded, it’s still gonna be kind of a pain. But it’s worth it. I am so impressed with this speaker. If you are willing to pay the money, this is the speaker to get a hold of. If you’re like me and like to take music on the go. This is definitely gonna be set up for pool parties, occasional get-togethers and I will probably set this up for the community Christmas Dinner program that I’m a part of. For some of you, the one downside this is it is not battery powered. Yes I’m gonna have to have a generator or power source close by for this wedding. I am taking both this speaker and the 710 for this wedding. And yes, I have microphones already ready for this. I bought them when I bought the 710. I am truly happy with JBL‘s product line for the speakers. It’s getting better and better. ... show more

  • Amazing PartyBox Bluetooth Speaker
Style: Party Speaker
This is a powerful party speaker, loud and bass is thunderous. It’s good for Karaoke also hope they add an echo delay instead just a regular echo and it should be perfect. There’s a lot of adjustments through the JBL one apps and you can also adjust the Equalizer to your own taste. It’s heavy built like a tank fortunately it comes with a wheels. Overall the sound quality is very good but again you cannot even put the volume to 50% because it will shake and rattle whatever you have around that’s loose. Connects fast to Bluetooth devices, it’s a little bit pricey maybe just because of the tariff. This needs to plug in order to work its not rechargeable not like the other smaller JBL PartyBox. You can connect a microphone and at the same time you can connect a guitar and you can use them both at the same time. ... show more

  • No review or video is going to do it justice.
Style: Party Speaker
No review or video is going to do it justice. I am a guy who likes to feel bass. I like when my alls are shaking. I like when things are falling off my table and stuff when I'm listening to music. I have invested a lot into buying 1200 dollar svs subwoofers and such. I will say right now. This is a great speaker. It punches you in the chest you almost just like when your at a concert. A lot of these reviews talk about turning the volume to 20%-50% and being afraid to turn it more. I will say I am cranking it at about 80% past that I will say it almost sounds like I might break it. Because it really has a lot of volume. I can go out of my house and hear it but it's muffled. Now if I took this outside... Ide for sure piss off my neighborhood fast. I love it. Finally something all in one where I don't have to buy bookshelf speakers and a sub etc, that actually slaps and hard at that. ... show more

  • Heavy clean loud
Style: Party Speaker
The base hits hard. Nobody is playing anything louder or as clean as this speaker! I take it to work in an aircraft hanger and turn it up, it rattles the entire building. Great all around and life of the party. Also great for having a movie theater sound experience at home with the family. Con: it’s really heavy but has wheels. The pads on the bottom do come off and makes the speaker wobble when standing so do not drag/push speaker. ... show more

  • Worth the hype!
Style: Party Speaker
This speaker is awesome! It was on sale and worth every penny, we enjoy it all the time, the neighbors listen to good music whither they want to or not lol It’s outside with us and by the pool, lil splash don't hurt it and it has to stay plugged in but it’s worth it.

  • Loud, Reallllly Loud. Good app control.
Style: Party Speaker
So, I got two of these bad boys... Yes, they're loud, overwhelmingly so like PA speakers (better for parties/events (maybe 100-150+ people) then for personal listening IMO). There is an nicely designed app you can control EQ, Lights, and Mixer. Connectivity: you can do stereo mode where it plays left and right speakers if you have two speakers, and there is party mode to connect two speakers but play mono audio. You can connect audio and be separate from your phone audio and an app's own audio so that is good for multitasking. The apps takes a bit to get used to, but once you do it's very easy to navigate and use! Pros: [+] It has dual woofers, dual tweeters, and new mid-range drivers for better sound detail. [+] LOUDDDD, like using the speaker(s) outdoor will make your neighbor next-door mad, and the 15 other neighbor after that and so on... [+] Good app features, EQ, Lights, Stereo Mode, Party Mode, and Even Mixer Mode... [+] Flashy RGB lights, customizable. [+] On the back has cord holders, battery plug in, and aux connections for daisy chaining two speakers or guitars and microphones. [+] Has Wheels and Handle for easy carrying of this big boy. Cons: [-] The bass is more floor shaking they're in your chest unless your right up to it... [-] Requires Wi-Fi for essential things like Sync and Lights. [-] EXPENSIVE, and this is self-explanatory as this speaker can cost $1,000-$1,700+ USD... [-] It's 80+ lbs so it's heavy, and even with the handle and wheels can be quite the arm workout to carry around, so it's not that portable and there is no battery so it has to be constantly plugged in. ... show more
