I’m not a sound expert, but I genuinely enjoy music. This speaker is incredible. Truly. We have a farm where we occasionally have parties out in the field. In the field of sunflowers overlooking the Straits of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains, in fact. I bought one of these just to see how good the sound is outdoors and I quickly bought a second one to pair. It’s my own personal “wall of sound”. The volume, the clarity, the base all come together to give a sound not unlike live music. I can’t rave enough about these incredible speakers. They are big, and (for me) heavy. Picture a septuagenarian with big 15 pound speakers in each hand approaching the scene and you can understand. Violin music will make the hair on your neck rise a bit, crystal clear classical can begin to change your whole hairstyle, where excellent R & B brings it all home. Trust me. Your life will never be the same without a couple of these on hand for life events. Inside or outside, low volume or REALLY LOUD AND CLEAR, these speakers are built for sharing the pure joy of music.

Ok...I am an admitted audiophile for the past 30 years. i have listened to speakers that cost $10,000 each with sound systems that cost $50,000+. Unfortunately, the transition from DVD/Blue-Ray quality to highly-compressed MP4 format has resulted in most speakers sounding weak with no high or low end. Enter that JBL BoomBox 2. While certainly not audiophile quality, it is probably the best sounding portable speaker I have heard in the past 10 years! The $400 price tag is not cheap but if you are looking for awesome sound, then seriously consider this speaker. First, it has a wonderful, warm sound with delightful highs and tight bass. Sounds great at low volumes and awesome at high volume. No degradation of sound quality at higher volumes. Crank it up for larger areas like a backyard or pool (it is waterproof). Two of these would rock any any larger area or venue. I was also impressed by the the long rechargeable battery life, easy to carry handle and simple controls. Pairing to my smartphone was quick and easy. Apparently you can order two and use them in a stereo format via their app but I have yet to try this. Only drawback is that it is not lightweight. Could double as a bicep curl weight. Honestly, you could spend 2X or 3X on other Bluetooth speakers but I would doubt you would get any better sound quality. Will definitely be ordering a second unit for my backyard/pool area. Love the idea they can be quickly and easily be moved indoors for movies and home theater.

My husband just loves this boom box. The base is fantastic! He takes it outside to grill and sit to enjoy a beer, it’s so portable. The function is fantastic as it holds battery life well. It’s super good looking and the sound quality is- just unbelievable!! Such a great find!

When I first took it out the box I tried to connect and use the speaker but it was cutting in and out and the bluetooth range was almost nonexistent. I looked online and followed the 10 step guideline listed on the job website and now everything is working perfectly! I will update if anything changes! Review: This thing might be big but it’s only because it packs a huge punch. It has clear, booming audio while still being light enough to carry. The design makes it super portable without sacrificing looks. It charges a bit slow but it also has a great battery life so it’s a trade off! Overall 9/10!
