  • Absolutely incredible!!!
As a previous owner of 110 and 310, I host BBQs and find the 110 to be just a tad not loud enough for a big space outside, such as a field. But inside the 110 worked great. Only downside on the 710 is the it has to be plugged in, but man oh man this will shake the walls, will play clearly for a while football field, which is where the 110 fell off at. It feels solid, and allows me to feel the music in my soul !! Thank you JBL for this incredible device ! ... show more

  • Great products
This model does not have battery option, wall power only. Looks knew it works great-powerful sound for size. I've used it for ice hockey rink games and sound is sufficient .

  • Do you want your house to vibrate like a loose license plate? This is for you!
I'm a bodybuilder and put this in my home gym, upgrading from a ~12-year-old Klipsch speaker that is around 1/100th the size of this behemoth. When it came, I was stunned at how large it was, even after watching dozens of YouTube videos prior to buying it... it's like a Panzer tank equipped with a bass radiator. Man, that'd be a lot better than this. Heil bass! I haven't turned this speaker up past 1/3 of the way on the volume bar, I feel like the mirrors would shatter and I'd slip into a tetragram of space/time like in that funny space propaganda movie "Interstellar." Space is fake by the way, we can't get through the firmament, you should look into Operation High Jump and Operation Fishbowl (get it, fishbowl, like we're living in an enclosed system)/ Anyways, this speaker blew my mind, almost as much as when I learned the earth has never been proven to rotate, and no optical or material forensic testing has ever certified an inch of curvature. I mean, the bass hits so hard, I feel like that guy who invented the funny theory of gravity, the magical force that makes some things stick to stuff and other things float and spin around. Gravity, the fairy dust of theoretical physics and astronomy that was literally invented as "special" (emphasis on the special, lol) relativity, to explain away the aether and the magnetic realm we live on that uses electromagnetism, density, and buoyancy to explain why things float and fall. If you're looking for a real-life sound stage, this speaker isn't for you. I mean, this is all about having seizures from flashing LEDs and having your heart skip beats by trying to mimic the 20hz lowwwwwww down BOOM BOOMS! Man, this thing puts out, and I don't mean like Ghislaine Maxwell, I mean like, it puts out a lot of air movement as those speakers go WOMP WOMP. The app is a pretty crazy piece of tech, and works well, just like the JBL headphone app (I have those too). Speaking of amazing tech, did you know the allies stole the tech from Germany following 1945 for what literally became a cloned bomber known as the B2? LOL, they were so far advanced, we stole their stuff over half-a-century ago, and it became "our" most advanced war tech. Classic. But seriously, if you want to crank up some BANGERS and feel the bass in your brain stem, like someone's plucking it like a harp (not HAARP, the facility that the US Govt funds that create weather by using admitted chemtrails and shooting 1-trillion watt lasers into the atmosplane to ionize the water molecules). If I thought long and hard about it, I could think of 6 million more reasons why this JBL 710 PartyBox is a party, in a box... but after giving it some more thought, I'd honestly only be able to come up with about 280,000 documented reasons... If you need 1 powerful speaker with 4 combined tweeters and woofers in an 8-hundred-watt array, then buy this refurbished or on sale, because the original $800 price tag is too much. ... show more

  • Perfect
I didn't want the 710 to shake my house to pieces, I wanted to listen to a very crisp, excellent sound quality speaker at normal volumes (which, ok, I could crank from time to time). The 710 after EQ adjustment sounds extremely crisp and beautiful. My JBL Boombox now sounds like a phone speaker compared to my 710. ... show more

  • Great sound, fills the whole house with music
I'm extremely happy with this Bluetooth speaker, it's loud, clear and delivers lots of bass! The lights are a neat gimmick but i usually leave them off. As a refurb, i was a little concerned in ordering, but I honestly can't tell it's not brand new.

  • Saw the JBL ad, and assumed this entire line had the same characteristics in design philosophy. NOT
Just to make sure that this is all hugely me to blame. It does make this old statement ring true, do not assume anything. I have to purchase all kinds of things on a daily basis for my company, and getting speakers is one of many. So i saw the JBL advert on the partyline speakers and thought it was wonderful, seems like great portability and freedom of wires. Very important. So i decided to get the entire line just in case of the venue size. To make this short lets go with s,m,l. THe s did not have handles or wheels , which makes life difficult and me unhappy. The M was sold out and the L was not so portable and either mine can't hold a charge or its AC only which means wire running on the ground which cannot do. I called JBL to understand why is this so, and the word philosophy was skewed towards the Marketing directors flamboyancy just a little. Also found out i was not the target audience , no surprise there. So the s goes back , and the LG well it might just stay in the SUV and blast my kids to smithereens HAH! On the brighter side if all you wanna do is to boom, boom and zoom zoom this might be the last speaker youll ever need. Kudos JBL you got my time. BTW its not that im against reading literature of products , but usually mass produced lines have very similar qualities and only the flagship model stands above the rest. This is almost a manufacturer's credo for QC and output. ... show more
