abunda_amazon_reviews I was in the market for a larger portable speaker for parties and was originally going to get the Aiwa Exos-9 but after watching Oluv's Gadgets comparison of the two speakers on Youtube I opted for the Partbox100 since it went slightly louder and had a deeper and more powerful low end. The speaker does get pretty darn loud but I think I went into this with unreasonable expectations as I was expecting earth shattering loudness but at its highest volume its not completely overpowering. That being said, I had this speaker with me at a weekend vacation with a big group of friends and they were all extremely impressed by its volume, bass etc. and we had a lot of fun playing lawn games, and then dancing the night away. The speaker really shines playing more modern electronic music, hip hop, edm. Its hard to explain but where other smaller speakers i've heard produce a flatter sound without much punch, the sounds that come out of the partybox have a TON of punch and clarity and you really can feel the whole spectrum of frequencies. The low end with the first bass boost mode is awesome, and you can hear bass frequencies in songs I've played a thousand times that I've never heard before. It seems to be tuned in a way where the low-mids are not very present but at low volumes I just used an eq app on my phone to roll back the highs a bit to compensate. The sound also has a huge spread and can be heard from far away. For $300 I feel really good about this purchase and will likely get another one in order to stereo pair.;;Reviewed in the United States on August 20, 2019;;4.0 out of 5 stars;;Great party speaker. Low bass, crisp highs, projects far;;Me;;;Some background, I own an Aiwa Exos 9, and the Diamondbox Model L, also a Sony XB20, I had a JBL xtreme and flip 3, I have 2 Flip 4's and an xtreme 2 that I listen to in the shower, various other BT speakers like the Doss Soundbox XL, and my mom has the Sony XB 30. So I have speakers that can get loud and I know what an average BT speaker sounds like. I saw oluvs gadgets youtube reviews of this speaker, particularly against the Exos 9 that is the same price. It just happened to be near my birthday and I had already ordered a new Exos 9 to link with my 3sh year old Exos 9 for more sound. The Diamondboxx is loud, and it has great stereo separation and it's very precise in the high and mids, however I always felt like it lacked the low end I wanted, particularly at higher volumes. I live in the southern US and my music has to compete with fans, lawnmowers, and cars on the nearby highway. 2xExos 9's are louder and more bass heavy than the model L based on Javi's boom tech channels video. However the new Exos 9 linked with my old one played at very different volumes, my old one being much softer, probably 40% lower in volume when linked. I tried different firmwares from the company but they just would not sync up and play at the same volume. So I sent it back right when the JBL Partybox 100 became available. I ordered 2 straight away and holy crap do they sound good. First bass boost makes the low end bass stand out. They sync up in stereo with no issues. Their volume is linked when paired and so is the light show. The sonic experience of these 2 in stereo at 75% volume from 6 feet away is awe inspiring and you feel like they are too loud and your are going to get in trouble with the neighbors (also so loud I might be hurting my hearing). I am hearing things in my music that I haven't heard before, and the presence of the bass is so natural and not harsh or hollow, it feels and sounds like a large speaker making real bass and not overdriving a woofer or some bass radiators like it's competitors. If you need refined listening, you are going to want to go with a Exos9, or the Vifa Oslo, or something smaller like that. If you want to feel your music and need to entertain large functions, two of these are stellar for sheer power. I suggest going to Oluvs youtube channel and seeing one of these battle an Exos 9. When in stereo they really do shine and I have to say it's the best purchase I've made. I paid way more for the diamondboxx model L and they dunk all over it. You won't be disappointed. (Not sure why they are 360$ on Amazon, I bought them for 300$ each on JBL's site with 2 day free shipping).;;Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2019;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;So powerful. Way more features. It's actually more than I needed. I listen to music while gaming and this thing is perfect. You can take it with you also since it has a battery. Bass is deep and clear. The overall sound is incredible. This is no toy. If you engage bass boost level 2 it will just pound. I see people using it for tailgating. Yep this could fill a parking lot with sound. It's big, so if you carry it around it's heavy and I would not suggest beating it up or getting it wet. It's full of speakers ok? The lights. I'm older and while they are cool I will probably turn them off. They move to the music which is fun but that's not what I bought this for. It sits behind me and it's distracting when your playing shooting games lol. Yeah lights and led stuff is bright and always changing colors and so on. The sound is so much that sometimes I find that I have to take a break from it. Maybe having the bass setting in the middle is too much for me? Or having it inside a small room is too much for me?
