Great deal on these two clicker remotes. Especially handy since you can program them with dip switches -- great when you have an older garage door opener. Instructions can be a little confusing when trying to pair with an older device, but even if you don't know the exact model to program/pair, you can set the switches and keep clicking the button until the door opens. Once you figure it out, it's easy as pie.

They work, but seems like you need to be pretty close to the garage door to get it to work.

I received the garage door remote and my first thought was the buttons felt a bit flimsy. I know it is not a OEM Chamberlain remote which has a more robust outer case and buttons - so I wasn't too surprised by the build quality. When I went to program the remote, it took three tries before it worked, but to be honest the OEM Chamberlain remotes I have used took more than once. As for the operation, it works very well. The range is about what I expected and close to the OEM Chamberlain's range. As long as the case and buttons hold up I think this is a pretty good option to the more expensive Chamberlain brand.

I had all but given up hope of finding a control that would work with an old Genie garage door opener and then I found this one. I tried similar, authentic Chamberlain ones carried by Lowes and Home Depot these days, but they were not compatible with the old Genie. Chamberlain have updated the ones in the box stores these days so that they no longer support dip switches. This one does, and it worked perfectly to solve my problem.
