    • THE KLIEN FAN DOESN'T JUST MOVE AIR- IT SAVES LIVES!
Size: 13-Inch
Review Image by TNo Money
i’ve bought 4 klien fans over time. 3 of the smaller models, and now the big beast. each one proves klien isn’t just moving air — they’re stealing it from the heavens and blasting it straight on you when you’re drowning in sweat and begging for relief. when there’s no air conditioning, no breeze, no mercy… that’s where the klien fan steps in. not just handy. LIFE SAVING. ⸻ i loved these workhorse fans so much i bought one for my sister, a chef. she called me after her first shift with it: “you saved me. i can actually focus on my food again.” then i sent one to my other sister, a special needs teacher. picture a school with no AC, kids roasting in classrooms. not anymore. her students sit in comfort while kids outside peek through the windows jealous. she even called me and had the class yell in unison: “thank you troy, and thank you klien fans!” she bought 6 more for her room. now the whole school wants in. even the teachers are plotting fan heists. ⸻ this isn’t a “best-in-show” pretty-boy fan with chrome, remotes, 14 speeds, LED gimmicks, or hydraulic lifts. this is a WORKHORSE. two speeds: fast and strap-yourself-in crazy fast. color: unmistakable klien orange — ugly to some, beautiful to us. purpose: keep you alive on the grind. ⸻ • magnet: stronger than an MRI. attach it to beams, EMT, chain link. or maybe the steel plate in your head (hands free, baby). • clamp: grab anything, anywhere. sky’s the limit. • durability: i dropped mine 35 feet off a scissor-lift. laborers screamed like it was falling to its death. nope. i picked it up… still blowing. they cheered. i swear it happened. let’s put it this way: drop a klien fan vs any other fan. the other fan shatters into 300 pieces. the klien keeps running. which one you want on your side? i’ve run mine nonstop for 4 months, 17 days straight. it doesn’t quit. it won’t quit. ⸻ yeah, it’s pricey. smaller fan: $60. big boy: $100. a household “fancy” fan? $40–50. but when your cat knocks over that house fan — that’s its funeral. when your cat knocks over a klien fan? it keeps spinning, whispering, “that all you got, mister purrrball?” ⸻ • hard to find: easy to misplace on jobsites. i’ve rediscovered mine on beams, cabinets, plumbing, pipes. it’s like “where’s waldo” with airflow. • cleaning: pain in the butt. 6 screws to pull the cover, 4 more for the blades, deep-reach screwdriver needed. if you’re mechanical, fine. if not… prepare for surgery. • absurd durability test idea: if a tornado hits your jobsite, the klien fan will still be standing there — blowing the tornado back. ⸻ we electricians live and die by klien tools. fans included. if they made shirts, socks, underwear — i’d wear them all. until then, i’ll stick with their fans to keep me breathing. the klien fan isn’t a gadget. it’s a lifeline. it’s not a fan. it’s a KLIEN. and if you know, YOU KNOW. and here’s my poem about the Klien fan just in case you dont think i’m serious! “THE ORANGE WIND” he showed up day one, hard hat too tight, green in the trade, ready for the fight. foreman barked orders, gave him the worst chore, hauling trash and copper scrap, sweat puddlin’ on the floor. but then he caught sight of a glow on the beam, orange fan spinning like a worksite dream. blowing cool on a journeyman, calm and alive, that apprentice thought, “i need that just to survive.” so he saved up quick, bought one of his own, next shift on the job, he was chill to the bone. now the kid ain’t just grinding, he’s grinning ear to ear, he’s ibew strong, union proud, career crystal clear. fast forward a month, on a boom lift high, sixty-five feet up, fan slips, takes a dive. crew held their breath, thought it smashed, thought it done, he climbed down, picked it up… still humming, still spun. meanwhile, the “other” fans? can’t stand a sneeze, fall two feet, break apart, drop to their knees. but klien’s built rugged, orange steel in the hand, the fan of the worker who builds this land. and here’s the truth whispered low by the cats, they bat the house fans, knock ‘em flat on their backs. but touch a klien fan, it just keeps on the go, cuz if you know, YOU KNOW… and the cats, yeah—they know. • This is the one
Size: 13-Inch
I’ve used various portable job site fans and this one takes the win for me. The Milwaukee fan is also good but the fact that the Klein fan does not require a detachable battery and uses a USB C to charge really adds a level of convenience I was not expecting. Oh also it can be used while charging. So if you have a really long cord or a portable power pack then the fan will never die. You can have infinite fan action. You may never have to sweat again. Joking aside, the size of the fan is perfect, the components feel sturdy when rotating in any direction as opposed to some fans that feel as if they will break just by touching them. Lastly, the dual mounting feature works great; magnet for metal and a large clip for everything else. Something to note, the clip is very tight and can be hard to squeeze in order to open. I bought one for my mother and she had some issues actually being able to open the clip, but no worried because she prefers just sitting it upright using neither of the two mounting options. I would suggest purchasing the larger fan if you are already willing to spend this much. The smaller one offers no benefit to the larger model outside of price. ... show more

    • It’s a fan with the Klien brand on it!
Size: 13-Inch
Great for exactly how you think it’s going to perform nothing outstanding and of course it’s Klien and when Klien makes these random products they’re good enough but nothing too spectacular. Takes a while to charge on high speed. It will be half drained within four hours or right before lunch you’ll be there or a bit less but You know the weight to battery ratio I guess you could say is fair but you do have to be conservative with this fan and it’s battery. Low speed will probably last you all day but you’re going to charging this thing every single day no doubt I forget it at home because I have to charge it every night! But when you need it, it’s probably the best fan because it clips, it’s magnetic. It could be plugged in to a wall or powered from power tool battery with the proper adapters, but it runs on the lower speed setting. This performance is fine but it’s nothing special and you get exactly what you’re expecting to get in a way. that’s what’s disappointing because with Klien being a Part of my every day 9 to 5 working life and I do love Klien but I don’t feel the love back with this thing but I do know that the thought is what really matters and I’m glad that they make a fan that’s probably just another fan with their name on it.. I would recommend over the common brand power tool brand fans, because of the ratio of ease and convenience also hauling some thing around that isn’t the most necessary thing to be having on you is what I like about it most! ... show more

    • Nice fan, usb c charging, more portable.
Size: 13-Inch
This item is great for keeping my family cool when camping in the summer. Also clip it onto a golf cart. Better than cheaper options. More portable than a brand that needs a battery pack. Easily charged in a car or from a Jackery or something.

    • Great little fan
Size: 13-Inch
I clip this to a shower curtain rod above the bathroom window and it works phenomenally as a bathroom exhaust fan for our little apartment bathroom. Battery lasts a long time on low. Great airflow. A little pricy but not too bad. Charging takes a long time from a dead battery.

    • It’s okay
Size: 13-Inch
The four magnets are good but feel weak at times; I've had it fall on me while working. If they added one more, making it five in total, it would be much better. The fan lacks power; the Milwaukee and DeWalt fans are better. The no-battery-needed feature is a plus, but it lacks power compared to other options. If the charger were non-removable and had a small space to tuck it in after using it, rather than having to carry the charger separately, it would be an amazing feature. Additionally, a notch to change between different fan levels would be much better than the current button, which would eliminate a lot of unnecessary inconveniences. Other than that, the fan is okay; it is cheaper than others, and the battery life is good too. ... show more

Size: 13-Inch
Best purchase I ever made. I use this in my cart when I go golfing to stay cool. Blows strong air and the battery lasts the better part of a day. Very solid!
