The chairs were received faster than anticipated. They were shipped extremely well, they are very easy to assemble once you understand the instructions. Review them fully first. I found it easiest to leave the plastic on the chair except for the bottom part. (your tools are zippered inside) and then put all four legs in the holes. After that setup the first 8 bolts. (this will make sense when you read it) then put them in all four legs as shown. After that use the smaller bolts to connect the sides. Do the screws last. I was able to use the tools provided but chose a drill on low speed for the screws. They are very comfortable, fashionable and sturdy.

Admittedly, I didn’t think I needed the instructions, so I put three of the four legs on backwards. Follow the instructions carefully. However, after the first chair, it was a breeze putting the others together. The chairs feel sturdy, the fabric is soft, the cushion is soft but has the right level of support and firmness as well. Overall a good product!

I ordered the beige velvet tufted barstools (2 boxes = 4 stools) The counter I purchased them for is a bit smaller than I realized, but the extra seat is helpful for company. (I purchased before I moved to my new place). The seats have springs in them, not just a piece of thin wood & cushion like others may have, and is wide enough for comfort, even for some who may have a wider seat ;) As far as assembly: There were some tight spots to turn the hex key to attach the legs: to make the process quicker, we cut one of the hex keys to fit in a drill. TIP: don't tighten all the pieces before adding the next - this will make the cross bars stick out too far, and not sit neatly on the legs. I have sprayed them with fabric protector as this is the only dining seating I have and will get a fair bit of use. FYI: Leveling feet are only on the back legs, but I also added pads so my wood floor will not be scratched.

I am pleased with my purchase of these 4 barstools and I highly recommend them. Read other reviews and was a bit hesitant but my experience was positive. Assembly- my boyfriend put them together and he had a little trouble with the first one but it was just time consuming but after the first one was done then the other three were a lot easier. And we scotch guarded them because I don’t know if they have that treatment already or not but he put two light coats on. The Way they look- they are beautiful and look great with my decor. I really think that these barstools will look great with just about any style. They have a modern touch but can be a little classic. The Quality-these are excellent quality and I do believe they will stand the test of time. They are velvet seats with wood legs. I highly recommend anyone looking at these barstools to get them and not wait. They are well worth the money and did not take very long to get shipped to me.

Far exceeded my expectations and I’m glad I purchased. For the price of 4 chairs this is a must buy. Seriously. The assembly was tricky in manipulating the leg pieces into the holes. They weren’t all pre drilled evenly. Once assembled they’re super study and really comfortable. I have 4 at our breakfast bar and two adults and two kids all sit comfortably. The metal finishings, screws etc are all zipped in the bottom side of the chair. As an FYI so that you won’t waste time searching only to find them there a day later. Shipping was expensive and it took me more than 2 weeks to receive which was not cool. Entire box damaged and I was afraid I’d have damaged chairs but all was fine. If you’re on the fence definitely buy. They are gorgeous in person!
